I think it was a good move. I dunno.

I hate the new default smiley set, so I changed my smiley display settings in my profile. But it's weird, not knowing how other people see my smileys. So now I'm always checking "disable smileys" whenever I use one.

So I guess there are some ups and downs.

Found a bug in the forum software. Long threads are always marked as having new posts. Like this one: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=52208.0

That happens sometimes, try it again in about 3 minutes and it'll fix itself.

Also note that it keeps track of what the last page you viewed in a topic is, so unless you view the final page, it will still show the topic as having unread posts and point you to the next unread page.
