I'm curious to hear opinions from people here whom have a child or children themselves.

I'll ask my mom. Be right back.

She says she'd euthanize it.

Happy?

The problem is that all the medical resources put into her could be used for babies that actually have a chance for a normal life.

True, I didn't think of that at first. The time and money used to make bombs and fancy cars could save babies too, that's what I meant by "we've seen worse"; at least they are trying to preserve a life. I realize it's just theoretical though, while the medications used on the baby could actually save a few others.

We don't use medical resources and hospital staff to build bombs. While "the money you spent on that could be used on this" is a common argument, this is more like "why spend millions in making nuclear bombs if you're just going to shoot them at Mars to get rid of the evil imaginary aliens."

Not so much spend money in A instead of B. It's more about spending it on B but throwing the result away ignoring the people who need B.
