Rather then trying to completely possess him, you're trying to force him to do a single action.  'Tis two different things.

Dammit, I have all the bad luck.
I practice possession.
I do so by, say, going 1/4 out of the guard, and then going back in. The worst that could happen is that 1/4 of my... soul... thing... gets cut off.
But by gods it'll be worth it.

Actually, the worst that could happen is that you un-possess the guard, which would probably be a rather aggravating experience for you.

Ok well I kinda want to know how much of my shell has recovered(a percentage would be nice).

While I still wait for the earthen parts of my form to reassemble I try and add the element of rock to my form to make it more durable.

A: succeed = grab handfulls of dirt and rock and hold them against myself to try to speed the recovery process.
B: fail = try to supplement with stone again
Aa:succeed= continue to supplement the crafting
Ab:fail= repeate A
Ba:succeed= help recovery process
Bb:fail try a-freaking-gain

About 35% at the moment, though I don't think I'll get a turn up tonight. 

EDIT: Sorry, guys.  This got kinda shunted onto the backburner while I worked on the other forum game.  I don't know when I'll be able to dedicate time to it, but I'm hoping to be able to do so soon.

Hate to say it, but at the moment it looks like I won't be able to continue this RTD in the forseeable future.  Though I don't want to declare it dead, I won't be able to do rolls for what could be quite some time, so judge that as you will.  Feel free to post comments or the like; I'll be leaving the thread unlocked.
