The first demand my mayor made was 3 sets of platinum platemail. I didn't even have an anvil at the time and I was no where NEAR any platinum. Anyways, since then he's been more reasonable, and no one got punished for breaking the mandate even.

I didn't notice a mandate my mayor made until it was almost over. The mayor gave me extra time to kick my metalsmiths' asses into gear and make 3 gauntlets. =)

No, I've seen the options. I had platinum, just never wanted to make plate mail out of it.

Creating gauntlets makes a pair, so three gauntlets = 3 matching pairs.

My mayor seems to love platinum as well, so right now I have an inane amount of platinum buckets.
