10ebbor10 is next, now that IronTomato is done.

If 10ebbor10 isn't available, it's maniac.

The top post has a full list of players in order.

You might as well remove me from the player list, I've proven to be unreliable.
It's good to follow this thread though, I'm learning a fair bit by loading up the saves and poking around the craft about different construction strategies people are using.

Okay, will try to do this soonish. If you don't hear anything from me in the next 24 hours, assume the worst and move on to the next player.

Hmm...."assume the worst"

I choose to assume that the worst involves you leaving home, immediately being arrested, the cop car being struck by a falling International Space Station, miraculously leaving you alive. Afterward you go back home to find your house has been abducted by aliens (probably the ones who de-orbited the station) who have declared war on humanity because they found your Dwarf Fortress projects to not be mega enough.
Then they go about systematically killing the human race until you lead a rebellion against all odds to decapitate their leadership.

And that's when Dracula arrives......

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

There was apparently a book that had almost that exact plotline. I.E. Alien Invasion followed by Dracula. I wish I looked it up/remember what it was called now.

Also BUMPAGAIN.

Sounds like a combination of harry turtledove's worldwar and anno dracula by kim newman.
Scratch that, It's actually David Webers "out of the dark".
Further research into the subject actually makes me want to read this, not so much for the "It feels like he wrote 2/3 of a good resistance book, realized that he would need to have some way to hand-wave the risk of the aliens just saying "screw it, nuke 'em from orbit."Then he remembered his unfinished short story of Dracula fighting off an alien invasion and glued it together. "
But more for this description: "I decided I needed a new genre term midway through that book: ordinance porn. He spent a lot more time lovingly detailing the weaponry and ammunition and so forth used--its exact size, its chemical composition, its speed, its explosive power--than he spent making me give a shit about any of the characters. Every time a new gun showed up, you could hear the bow-chicka-wow-wow."

I really do love me some ordnance porn.
