I like how the forum interpreted my thieving multiplier as having shades next to it.

So of course I'm planning a raid, and then I notice just how powerful these items of mastery really are...

One lucky 10 equips the Warhammer and Socks of Mastery, the Survivalist's Kite Shield of the Titan, the Enchanting Amulet of the Protector, and the Survivalist's Amulet of the Ninja.
Another 10 equips the Hunter's Dagger and the Hunter's Tower Shield of the Titan.
Use the Enchanting Amulet of the protector to reroll the stats of the Hunter's Dagger.
(Considered dual-wielding warhammers for the lulz, but the shields give a better bonus.)

Steal an item from the village.
Cast trog-enhanced bolt on Skibiliano.
Raid Skibiliano with everyone but Shakti, destroying those accursed cunning traps first.
Afterwards kidnap all his dudes.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Turn 8-2

Disaster roll: 6

The heavens are in your favor tonight, equipment gets shifted away from Shakti, blessing a warrior with power.
You use the Enchanting Amulet of the Protector to shift the magical effects of your Hunter's Dagger.

Hunter's Dagger:
+2 effectiveness when hunting, +1 effectiveness in attacks, +5 chance for successful assassination

...

Well if that isn't a crock, you rolled the EXACT same thing!

Anyway, you send Shakti out for another item. The preposterous number of bones help make up for the lack of items on her, but she is still significantly weaker.
(220*2=440) vs (144*5=720), and without her precious items, she fails. Too bad really.

You then proceed to bolt Skibiliano. You fry his 7 and two 6s.
Then you raid the poor guy. (297*2=594) vs (38*5=190). His tribe fought valiantly, but seriously... You attacking what amounts to an infant tribe... You kill his last two 6s and wreck those cunning traps.
 Finally... ASSIMILATION!

Skibiliano Has Been Defeated!

It is now techno's turn. No draw.

Woot.
And thus expires our non-agression pact, Techno... I'm sorry it has to be this way.

Not surprising. Kind of hard to keep a non-aggression pact when only one of us can live.

Bolt on that over-equipped 10 of Rolan's.

Everyone breeds, and the warchief will use up to 59 bones to train the lower members up. (forget the cost to train)

Turn 8-3

Disaster roll: 4

Plague returns to this game, this time afflicting a 9. Things are about to get much worse though...

Everyone proceeds to mate, having the plagued member in there results in a 5 contracting the disease, and out pops the plague babies...
You get four 8s and four 7s( 8 ). They are pretty strong at least.

You spend 40 bones so the warchief can boost up the two 4s you now have(the plagued 5 counts as one).  the healthy one gets +1, the plagued one gets no change.

Finally, you send a bolt on at Rolan's super soldier for 50 bones. Extra toasty...

It is now Rolan7's turn. A card is drawn.

Cast create bones
Alright a different 10 equips the Warhammer and Socks of Mastery, the Survivalist's Kite Shield of the Titan, the Enchanting Amulet of the Protector, and the Survivalist's Amulet of the Ninja.  Same setup as before, in other words.
Reroll the stats on the Hunter's Dagger again, lol.
Raid with everybody - gotta destroy those traps.
If I succeed, kidnap as many dudes as I can, except for plagued ones.

Turn 9-1

Disaster roll: 5

Once again untouched. You give yourself a measly 75 bones with Create Bone and equip everything back on another 10. There, good as new.

You try again with the dagger...

Survivalist's Dagger of Mastery:
+1 effectiveness in attacks, +5 chance for successful assassination, When casualties are inflicted, wearer is counted as 1 effectiveness higher, doubles all passive effects of wearer(such as bonuses to effectiveness and sub-leader passive effects)

...

Oh no...

Well on to raiding!
(344*2=688) vs (262*1=262), both tribes fought poorly, but despite that, your tribe was the victor.  You kill two members(4,5) and destroy both of his traps. Then, you kidnap everyone not afflicted by plague at the cost of 728 bones.

Spoiler: Skibiliano (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Rolan7 (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: techno65535 (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: maxicaxi (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Askot Bokbondeler (click to show/hide)

It is techno's turn. And he better hope Rolan gets hit by an adventuring party with a storm in their pockets or something... Oh yeah, a card is drawn.
