Merchants wandering the halls of my fort
« on: November 11, 2009, 06:44:15 pm »

So in my new forts first year the caravan came. I bought a little bit of stuff, made a trade agreement-normal stuff. But now, for some reason a Merchant with a Donkey, a Merchant with a Muskox, a Hammer Dwarf, and an Axe Dwarf decided to leave the depo and go down into the fort(the traders havn't left yet, I can still trade with them). Even weirder the Hammerdwarf went into a martial trance then immediatly left it. This is pretty wierd, any ideas on what caused this?
Edit: The merchants went on their way, but the dwarves inside my fort are still there.
Also I think maybe the hammerdwarf killed a kobold, but its hard to tell as kobold remains are everywhere.

What if you didn't have any genitals, couldn't you just go naked as a dude (because showing your nipples is okay)?
What if monkeys created civilizations on the moon?

Merchants will flee from creatures, and the guards will attack said creatures even if they pose no threat to you (I'm waiting for either the Human or Dwarven caravan guards to try attacking one of the many Elephants that roam the wilderness around my fort, if only for the inevitable lulz as they get themselves slaughtered).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
