Looks like it's working fine under wine so I have it installed now (although being I'll only have this computer another week or two I need to put it somewhere else as well). Never played a multiplayer game of Stars! before so it should be fun.

I tried this out for a while, but the lack of diplomacy and the simple research was a huge put off to me.

Tried it too not so much fun as I'd thought it would be.
At the time I was heavily playing and modding VGAplanets, another PbEM Space strategy game with awfull graphics and unlicenced artwork/scifi content. Though mostly playing with myself. XD
A severely upgraded version v4 I think was released incorporating even stresses on spacetime etc, this I never really got into.

What was the subject again... oh yes
Stars! reminded me much of ascendancy, I think.

I'm in for a b12 game. If necessary I can host, I did it before.

EagleV will put a thread in forum games, anyone who wants to join, do it there, up to a maximum of 16, me thinks.

Also make sure you've made your own race, for those who are willing to join.

Once we have enough players, we'll discuss the rest of the options there. Hope we have a decent amount of players ;)
