"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:18 PM
ahhh
so it's like legos
but with twist ties
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:19 PM
Something like that
And there are a lot of reasons for X and Y methods and techniques
For example
A wire Warrior made entirely of one color of twist tie recieves a multiplier across the board for being a purebreed.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:20 PM
but the other variants have more varied skill sets?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:20 PM
Yes, and special synergies as well
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:21 PM
would each color be attuned to some kind of element?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:21 PM
Not only an element, they also have Drastic Features that completely change the way they work, and youor Core Color also changes a certain crucial ability.
Let me go through the colors.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:27 PM
you do know that discord has a character limit, right?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:27 PM
Red: Fire, Offencive Power, Immunity to Heat, Core effect, you can activate effects at any time, even when it is not your turn, such as beads, or Wire Effects. Wire effect is charging energy.
Yellow, Technology, Speed, Vehicle focus, Higher Carry and Equip Cap, Core effect, you can move, facing the direction you are moving while otherwise still, even when it is not your turn. Speed Boost for wire effect, and charging object energy.
Blue, Aura, Water (not immune to water, explained later), Martial Prowess, Core Effect, You can rotate around your center of mass, even when it is not your turn, this can lead to slight movement from changing orientation.
White: Holy, Neutral, Used for Wire Tools, This twist tie has no special core effect, but it also has better stats across the board, No Core Effect, but they can also tap into other twist tie effects above their ranking, such as acessing stronger red abilities from less red wire and experiance. This twist tie is also used in making tools and machinery, though it has fallen out of practice.
Green, Leaf, Ninja, This twist tie has no special core effect, but has the statistics of both Blue and Yellow, in addition, this twist tie has the greatest flight abilities without aid at low rankings, while others, such as Red, Yellow and Blue, have to use Beads which have an active propulsion,
A vehicle, or Aura/Psychic abilities
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:29 PM
so White is good for multiclassers?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:30 PM
Black Wires have the Core effect of Shadowseep, and indeed, this is where the concept in DR comes from, it is twofold, firstly, they can teleport between shadows, second, Black Wires (But nothing else aside from specific stuff) can pass through objects at will, even if it is not their turn, though this is not a constant effect, and has a very low time that it can be active, but the black wire will not revert to normal until it is out, enabling travel through objects and dodging powerful attacks via one method or another. They are another common flier.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:30 PM
are beads expendables?
also
passing through objects at-will while it's not their turn
why don't they just go ethereal whenever someone tries to hit them?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:31 PM
Because that requires two things.
One
They have to be a purebreed
Or their other wires are still vulnerable
And they can't be wielding any equipment, since it is not rendered incorporeal with them.
Outside of specific circumstances in higher tier play.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:32 PM
so why not just have black spikes for hands?
or other natural weapons
or just hit stuff
*with bare fists
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:32 PM
Well, that is a perfect example of downsides.
You could indeed do that, at the expense of almost everything else.
And black wires are rare enough as it is
Anyway
There are a few more
Which are rare enough to not merit as much description
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:33 PM
but trading raw damage power for immunity to physical damage seems like a preeeeeetty good deal(edited)
you can also just phase through vehicles and such
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:34 PM
Is it really though? especially when it has a low period of time it can work.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:34 PM
so you hard-counter mechs and physical attackers
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:34 PM
It takes two hits instead of one, or a special weapon.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:34 PM
ah
so you can dodge pretty much one attack per round
do you have to collect the twist ties irl?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:34 PM
You can dodge multiple, but not in quick sucession.
There is literally no way to moderate that, so you have a point buy, but can demonstrate new things to me one way or another to have them added to the list of things you can obtain.
Now
Minority Wires
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:35 PM
ah
hm
idea here
what happens if you paint a twist tie?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:36 PM
Clear Wire is rare, only found in some rare electronics as far as I know, and they are commonly associated with your Metroid/Alien/Terminator Wire Warriors. All other features are unknown, though they can turn invisible, and rarely have any tools at all.
That is covered in a diferent lesson, and is equated with disease.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
biological warfare yaaaaaaaaaay
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
Unlike us humies, Wire Warriors do not Heal from disease, they just patch over it.
And there is no real method of utilizing most methods without being exposed to it.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
so they repaint themselves back into their original color(s)?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
No
they add more wires to themselves
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:37 PM
Until the damage is wrapped in their new layers
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:38 PM
then discard the old ones?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:38 PM
They are like reverse insects
No
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:38 PM
they can't ever lose the old ones?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:38 PM
A wire Warrior ages and grows by simply adding more wire to themselves.
This has upsides and downsides
As a lot of gear is size specific
And requires peripherals that are lost when increasing in size
Like hand shape
Wire Warriors are not actually articulate at all
They have no moving joints unless they specifically add them after gaining more than one wire.
They move and interact with the world because of what is essencially personal telekinesis
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:39 PM
ah
so why can only some of them fly?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:40 PM
Wire Composition, Bead Usage, Abilities such as psychic power or directed currents, or simply a shape that is conducive to flight without articulation
Since they have control over their horizontal movement and rotation
they can arbitrarily work like a jet engine, essencially, with enough raw power, or by creating structures like wings, they can rock back and forth, gaining height
And of course
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
so they can't naturally go vertically
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
Some can simply be strong enough to lift themselves with their own movement ability
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
only horizontally?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
No, they can
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
Just not enough to fly
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
but fighting gravity is hard
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
Think of it like lifting yourself up by your arms.
If you are really strong,
You can clib
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
Otherwise
You can "Jump"
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
so what are beads, then?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:41 PM
You know plastic beads RL?
They have abilities that can be activated in setting.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:42 PM
yeah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:42 PM
Based on shape and color and composition
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:42 PM
what kind of abilities, though?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:42 PM
Well
They work on a charge basis
On their own
The more charge they are recieving, the more stable and weak the effect, strangely enough, but you can overpower that with even more power, in some cases, but it requires a much stronger power supply than normal.
On their own, using a bead usually ruins it somewhat, changing it's shape as it melts or shatters
The effect is well worth the waste though, with the abundance of them
If you integrate them into your weapons, or wear them
They can be used passively or actively
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:44 PM
can a red warrior repair them?(edited)
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:44 PM
A yellow can repurpose broken ones into argueably more useful tools
For example
A bead broken in half is often used to create a visor with it's new half-ring shape
A different effect, but arguably better
And a bead can be partially melted
intentionally
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
does it get new powers for being a visor?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
In order to do mad science.
Yes
But it loses old ones.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
OH
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
So a Red Round Bead that makes a directed jet of fire
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
you know how some twist ties are multicolored
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
When broken in half might make a wave of force.
And yes
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
what happens if you make a core out of one of those
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:45 PM
Well
Red-white wires have the natural ability of imitating...
Dang
This is tough to explain
You know the speed boost pads?
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:46 PM
it's like a half-breed?
in racing games?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:46 PM
Red-white wires have the ability to create directional force along their pattern.
So if you make a wheel, ski, or tread from it
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:46 PM
so they can fling stuff
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
It can act like a working one without moving
And yes
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
possibly including themselves
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
It can fling stuff
And also
Wheels
Just spool one up
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
And make a fast wheel instead of legs
Also
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
so what does a red-white core do, then?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:47 PM
Normal legs would allow strong strafing
Allows that outside of your turn.
Weaker than Red's omni effect
But if you are a pure breed Redwhite
You can exploit that for massive devestation, obviously
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:48 PM
you can move AND fling stuff
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:48 PM
Red cores can arbitrarily activate effects
Such as beads and wire effects
So their most common use is shitty locomotion
Since thye can neither rotate nor horizontal move
but
They could have something like omnidirectional tread feet
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:48 PM
what happens if you have a twist tie that starts out red at one end and then gradually goes through all of the colors as it goes down the length of the tie
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:48 PM
And slide around roughly
Or just have missile battery attached to them
And let loose at all times during battle
WEll, there is already precident for that in Chimeras
Due to highly unethical experements, Chimeras were the first artificial wire warrior, they have massive dreadlocks of several twist ties, and are usually multi-color, they are made by weaving multiple twist ties together in a braid, and both of the open ends are made into a head, arms, a tail, hair, and legs.
They move quadrapedally, and have no special core effect
They also do NOT take well to upgrading
Their base form is highly powerful, but it's design makes them lose power when gaining wire.
they are also usually insane, but there is one Chimera which went above and beyond in power
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
so they start out strong but get weaker
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
And is one of the great villains of the setting, or once was.
Well, if you never get new wires, you don't age, but you also get sicker
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
Since your wires degrade over time and you don't cover it up
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
because of wear and tear
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:51 PM
Also
Combat in setting is decidedly nonlethal, as all forms of Wire Warrior Power do not physically harm things
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:52 PM
can you eat other chimeras or something to (re)gain strength?
oh?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:52 PM
And instead attack energy.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:52 PM
I would have thought that flinging stuff would hurt things
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:52 PM
So the fire jets, impacts of fists and the like
Wire warriors that are not above like a half pound
Are usually immune to even a full on pitch
into concrete
They would lose a lot of energy though
Which is the point
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
because their energy holds them together?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
Now
No
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
it protects them?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
It just lets them move, and is drained from these things, even if they do not hurt them
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
what happens if they encounter
say
a rl dog
or a cat
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
No living matter exists in setting.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:53 PM
ah
ok
carry on
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:54 PM
The origin story is that a domestic wizard spilled the elixer of immortality when bombs dropped. This elixer was strong enough to not only coat everything in his kitchen, but to also blast that magic wave across the planet.
Toothpicks grow from the ground like bamboo, Toy factories become dense jungles of harsh predators, and Twist Ties fall into the Magic Pot, starting the first sapient species left in the wake of the end.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:55 PM
is there a limited amount of this magic-stuff?
like
will it run out?
is there enough to go around?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:56 PM
It will not run out, it was the catalist for "life" surviving, and it is essencially a huge re-incarnation plot.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:56 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:56 PM
So every living thing got equated to an inanimate counterpart.
Hence why instead of trees, there are mostly just forests of Random wood products now
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:57 PM
what happened to the corpses of the organic creatures?
are there corpse elementals or something?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:57 PM
Degraded naturally. Some Trees and Bones still exist where clearly obvious.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:57 PM
do bones have any special powers?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:58 PM
Nope, no more than rocks or bricks.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:58 PM
what if they were cut into a bead-shape?
could one artificially-create beads?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:58 PM
Two factors
The bone will probably be purely passive and defencive
And ye
The method by which to make artificial tools and beads are usually reserved for high danger occupations
Since you can't use wire fire to melt beads
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
ah
you need REAL fire
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
you have to use actual fire, which is much harder to come by
Yes
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
oh
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
Also
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
wait
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
Forbidden as well
For the most part
Basically
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 10:59 PM
so CAN or CAN'T non-glass materials be turned into beads
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
I didn't quite catch that
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
Can, but Your milage may vary
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
ah
hm
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
Bone and stone will probably be armor at the absolute best, or structural components for something.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
I wonder what would happen if you tried to turn a wire core into a bead...
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
As in the metal component?
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:00 PM
no
I mean
you "kill" a wire warrior
melt down his corpse
turn it into a bead
laugh evilly
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:01 PM
The wire loses properties when it loses cohesion
So if you kill a wire warrior
IT is only really good for salvage
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:01 PM
aw
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:01 PM
And bending wire repeatedly in salvage also weakens it
So it loses quality fast like that.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:01 PM
so melting it down would ruin it
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:01 PM
Anyway
Wire Warrior Geneva Convention basically amounts to this
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:02 PM
don't actually kill stuff?
like in pokemon?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:04 PM
Don't use Actual Blades, Actual Points are frowned upon, Water is to be avoided at all costs, Fire as well, Magents are considered to be Mindwhammy of a pretty high tier, Nobody talks about how super glue makes a Wire Warrior's current form basically immortal as it acts like a resin, and also grants them a huge boost in power, in return for basically stasis locking them, if someone is diseased from either rust or Melting or stripping, they are a flight risk.
You are allowed to use metal weapons like nails, push pins, and needles, but stabbing someone with one is considered a pretty major faux paux, since you slightly damage their wires, even though it does a fair amount of damage combatwise, also, things that do physical damage usually don't weaken a wire warrior's combat ability, and in some cases may even strenghten it, but at a terrible cost not worth paying.
If you stab through a wire, it is considered a dick move, and if you part someone's wire by stabbing, like it parts their wires aside, it is considered kind of a dick move.
Especially when it does not help kill them, if that is your goal.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:06 PM
so what exactly do magnets do to wire warriors?
what would happen if you magnetized a wire warrior core (can you even magnetize twist ties)?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:06 PM
Well, They are basically the cross between The Borg, Metroids, Running magnets over electronics, and Grey Goo.
Also
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:07 PM
so they start trying to magnetize other stuff
thus infecting THEM
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:07 PM
Magnets on their own are malicious, with their level of Blue/Orange increasing with the strength of magnetism
So what will happen is
you CAN fight them
But only if they are already possessing things.
Like nails, metal bits, and other such things.
they are perfectly willing to just try and beat the hell out of you with a simple golem like machine form
They are also perfectly willing to merge with other magnets as well
Wire Warriors actually escape the easiest
Not TOO much metal in them
So they can generally be removed unless something other than the magnet is holding them
Some wire warriors are immune to this effect, and exploit magnetism ruthlessly to enhance their strength
But it is not really specific to any one type of twist tie
And seems to be a crap shoot
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:09 PM
so it's like being a necromancer
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:09 PM
Thankfully, no, they do not magnetize other things.
Not any more than normal magnets do
Yes
Or an Alchemist ala Homunculi
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:10 PM
what are "Blue/Orange" levels?
+/-?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:10 PM
Blue Orange Morality
They become less benign as their magnetism increases.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:10 PM
ah
yeah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:10 PM
Magnets don't have a hivemind
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:11 PM
I know what that is
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:11 PM
But they all act the same, since they run off the same principles
So they might as well be a hive mind
Their usual MO is
"Sit somewhere until stimulous occurs, integrate to limits, replace as needed."
Since they also lose their maliciousness as they achive higher quality states of being of sufficiant mass
Due to Magnets losing strength with the amount of things attached to them.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:12 PM
ah
so theoretically
could there be magnet anti-heroes or something?
can magnets "eat" other magnets to gain their strength?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:14 PM
Not really, their goals are too simple, they are Dumb Ai with a very precice chinese box.
And just by existing they mindwhammy people if they are too weak
Anyway
Onto other horrors in this setting
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:14 PM
ah
so they're like great old ones
but less powerful
more like minor eldritch horrors
that some necromancers try to deal with
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:16 PM
The most benign disease in setting is probably, right after normal wear and tear, burning, suprisingly, being reduced to cinders does not make you go crazy like a thousand other things might, but instead is just good old fashioned Pain Without End, at least until you patch it away if you are lucky.
Many Wire Warriors simply die of it
But there are clear exeptions.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:17 PM
can you survive as an ash cloud or something?
or a puddle of molten metal and plastic
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:17 PM
Nope.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:17 PM
OH
how does mercury work in-setting
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
It causes a Wire Sickness, rather than a Real One.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
oh
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
Being near it and in it can cause status effects.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
I thought that it would be some kind of slime or something
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
Oh don't get me wrong
It could be
But it also might not be
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:18 PM
there is a lot of world
And it is hundreds of times bigger by this setting
's logic
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:19 PM
oh
what's the science-knowledge level of the wire warriors
like
do they know that the planet is round
IS the planet round in this setting?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:20 PM
Mario Tier, There are too many communities and too many of them are isolated for a consistent science.
The planet is round
Just a bit more cratery than usual
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:21 PM
ah
are roombas and such still around?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:22 PM
Yes, but nothing is active unless someone makes it active.
They would be good for cities or Parts.
Since even the screws in them could arm a lot of people with weapons and tools
Among the Electronic Wires for Cable and Rope and Wiring for Yellow Vehicles
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:22 PM
so they just don't work?
or could someone pilot them
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:23 PM
They can be made to work
Everything either lacks power or lacks something simple or hard.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:23 PM
did the laws of physics change slightly or something?(edited)
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:23 PM
No, just circumstances.
A wire jostled loose, or missing batteries
And of course
Without living beings
None of the power plants could possibly be running for long.
And of course
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:24 PM
ah
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:24 PM
Those ancient relics
Are barely comprehensible by most wire warriors
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:24 PM
so you mentioned a wizard earlier
what types of magic are available in the setting
just beads and innate abilities and such?
alchemy?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:25 PM
No other magics are mentioned or referred to, in general, aside from object magic, and clerical magic. Alchemy is usually more active focussed, since Wire Power generally works on energies, without really altering matter much, it usually amounts to stringing beads together to make a new form of energy or an effect.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:26 PM
clerical magic?
what are the major religions?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:26 PM
Two deities exist in setting thus far, or rather, they have existed, and incarnated and reincarnated, multiple times, and even having multiple incarnations, some of them even opposing one another.
Brick Dragon is considered the "Good" Force in the universe, The largest Pure Breed Wire Warrior, they existed once upon a time, a long time ago, they are made of a now extinct type of twist tie, brown, they are a three headed Dragon, winged and made of a brick like arrangement of wire, with their body being made of brick shaped rolls of wire attached to one another.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:29 PM
what did brown wires originally do?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:29 PM
Conversely, after that, a long time later, a much larger dragon made entirely of Artificial Green Wire comes into being, made partially of technology such as a giant pocket watch for it's chest, and several eye augmentations, it stood as tall as my forearm, a western style dragon, also winged.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:29 PM
why are they gone?
so to achieve godhood you just have to grow big and powerful enough?
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:30 PM
They were moderate speed, High Defence, Low Attack, they are not all that special, very similar to white, only instead of more skill growth, they are simply highly durable in wire combat.
They are gone because the only wire warrior who had them was Brick Dragon.
And Brick Dragon is completely lost.
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
lost as in insane?
or just in-hiding
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
Gone
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
why were there so few brown twist ties
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
Nobody knows if they are Dead or Hiding
"HONESTY" DISTRIBUTOR - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
did they just all disappear?
ah
maybe they all went to the rapture or something
whoooooo knoooooooooows
Scum Egg Child - Yesterday at 11:31 PM
They were highly concentrated, and only ended up being used to construct Brick Dragon
Also
