Arno smiled at the womans antics. She was a bit like him, in that regard. He was a bit torn in that he'd rather she escaped, but Portia seemed to have developed a sudden streak of vigilantism...he decided he'd have to follow along, but only enough so that neither of them would be hurt. If she got away, oh well.

Action: Use Help action to assist Portia's grapple. If initiative is rolled, deliberately delay until after Portia.

Coral steps around the others, and tries to trip the halfling if they break loose.

[Init: Portia 11+3, Hyphien 4+2, Arno 11+4, Coral 13+0, Thief 12+4, Soldiers 5-1]

The soldiers reel.
"Oh why you little- !" "Gimme that back!"
They both try and lunge, but it's very much too late. Instead of grabbing the halfling, they grab Portia, who just missed the halfling. They let her go immediately, but the chase has begun. She's already running!

"Woo-eee! Look at her go!" Arno comments, watching her go. Just watching.

Outrunning Humans wasn't easy with longer legs, he knew from experience-but, they couldn't corner as well, and what with a halfling being smaller, you could slip through the legs of the crowd while they were slowed down-ducking under fences, slipping through sewer grates, running under wagons, hopping through flower beds. All fair tactics.

It would be interesting to see how things turned out!

Action: Follow along belatedly with Portia if she decides to pursue, otherwise, thumbs in suspenders and watch the fun.

Tries to knock the halfling out with quarterstaff.

Walks to N8, attempts to knock out the halfling.

"GODDAMN IT, you idiots! I was trying to help!"
Make a rude gesture and walk off in a huff.

Coral sighs. Even if she was inclined to catch the thief, she didn't have much chance.

Still, she figured she should probably put of some kind of act.

Coral delays her action until after soldier 1 and 2, when she jogs to P9
