And there's chaos when push comes to shove, but it's music to my ears.

"We'll be on our way, I guess. Try to not let the termites get a hold of you.

The spriggan gives a non-committal grunt and, creaking, seems to lock in place. A faint snore drifts from the tangled roots.

"Now the adventurers walked out the church, into what else but a sunken graveyard. Spooky? Maybe. The dead don't like being disturbed. The wind seems to whisper in their ears. They can't help but feel a shiver down their spine, even bold Bekter. Doesn't help they can see a body to the left - an old suit of armour half-buried in the muck. The sound of teeth chattering seems to rattle in their ears."

The party heads through the northern door, pushing aside the rotten wood on screeching hinges, and find themselves in one of the church's graveyards. The stones are hefty blocks, each carved with 5 figures above a tree, another one curled beneath the roots. Faint blue sparks seem to dance in the corners of your vision. To the north, a path leads into the murk. You can just make out the tip of a spire through the hanging branches, and the vast bark pillar that is Yggdrasil looms distantly through the plant growth. It seems Copperburg might lie not too far ahead.

Hmm. What's that over there? I'm going to go examine it.

(The corpse.)

'Looks like we're getting close. And be careful Elerous. There are creatures out there that don't like to stay dead.'
Vulpa's hackles can be seen to rise very slightly beneath her coat.

Christ.
OK, people.
Workload at uni has increased a massive amount. Couple that with trying to do additional workshops, I don't have much spare time at all. Not particularly happy with my happy system at the moment, either, so that needs an overhaul.

The point is this: Yggdrasil will either be updated very slowly or not at all. I'm torn between working towards a reboot with slightly different mechanics (whereupon it'd start from the beginning again, I'd make a new thread) or just continuing on with this.
