Your tribe actually has very little in the way of experience with sandwyrms - You live next to the desert, but most of your food is gathered from the river marshes, or gown in what little arable land your tribe has Your experience with sandwyrms is simple - Don't attract their attention. Your legends tell of heroes who lured the wyrms to he surface and struck for the gaps between their plates, but you have no idea of how accurate these stories may be. You don't know of anything that poisons them, but you do know that the wyrms prefer to avoid the surface, and only rarely appear to hunt the surface life.

But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

You and your warriors surround the wyrmsign. Your warriors are skeptical, but you get them to go along with the idea. You begin beating the ground, and sure enough, the wyrm emerges! It is old and grizzled, its segment plates gnarled and twisted, with spikes jutting out left and right. You dart in, and find a spot not covered by shell. A quick spear thrust, and a spurt of thick blue blood catches you right in the face. You choke a little, but you get most of it down. The wyrm thrashes angrily, and you feel a cold fire beginning in your guts. You run free from the melee, and your warriors follow you. The wyrm retreats beneath the ground, and one of your warrior shouts, "It's following us!". What do you do?

Stall the beast, have other tribemates get a waterskin full of animal blood to poison it.

You focus on the feeling inside your chest, and gesture at the sand. The old fire seems to flow out of you, and the sand shivers beneath your feet. A sudden weakness grips you and you fall to your feet. You expect the wyrms cruel teeth around you at any moment, but your fears are baseless. Looking up, you see the wyrmsign retreating, and your warrior returning to stand by your side. What do you do?

Return to camp to rest and gather more warriors.  Use newfound powers to impress warriors to come with you.

dont need to impress them though, rest up recouperate/, you do not want to waste what you have
