Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

That's cruelty! Dwarfes are replaceable, adorable and cute kittens are not!

I've heard it all before ... you're saying nothing new ... I thought I saw a rainbow ... but I guess it wasn't true ... you cannot make me listen ... I cannot make you hear ... you find your way to heaven ... I'll meet you when you're there ...

You all have it all wrong.

ITS THE LIVER I TELL YOU!!!

That's what controls a dwarf, the brain just acts like an interface to the liver.

But the soul and spirit of a dwarf resides in the liver!

Indeed, urist mcwoodcutter had a horrible incident with a random spear with a small goblin at the end which went through his liver. Somehow he survived although his behavior had changed massively. He refused to drink alcohol, supposedly because it made him sick.

Truly the dwarven soul must be in the liver.

I lost 3 expeditions to mysteriose sudden death. It turned out that some pathfinding FUN caused them to try and swim across a river right before a 14z level waterfall. Took another 2 to successfully partition off the offending waterway without Sudden Suicide Syndrome showing up again XD. There were so many ghosts.

Even more so now I have reclaimed again after a double goblin invasion wiped out the forts eventual 159 population. They had war cave dragons...

Reminds me of that one time I was trying to fix a cave waterworks project gone awry. I'd conscripted most of my dwarves into the masonry corps and made them run across the lip of a gushing waterfall over 20 z-levels in height... I mean, it's less than 3 deep, right?
