Adventure mode.  I will find the secrets of necromancy, and kill/raise everything.
And I'm almost certain this thread exists already.

I will start a new fortress and play it for about ten years.

I will then play adventure mode.

Ill just play normally, and embrace anything new as it comes.


I will also punish every dwarf in fortress mode who is female, cause i can.

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

I’ll likely play around in the Object Testing Arena until the first few big bug fixes have been released.

Hell on earth biome embark, as close to (or on/next to) a necromancer tower and other nasty things. Still debating whether to try adventurer mode first instead.

Can adventurers really learn the secrets and raise corpses? I know what I'm doing first...

No, it's just that you both are insane. But hey, who isn't here? As for me, I'm gonna pry open the raws, and see if there's any new tags for civ and creatures, then see if my civ mod works. And then make a fortress or ten.
