In case of migrants/wanderers/people found inside the fort:
Name:Jirax "Bright-Eyes" Steelson
Skills:Scouting,Pistols
Bio:He was once a fairly normal, occasionally short sighted patroller for a small fort known as Tinkerhold, but tragedy struck when he was both afflicted with their "Cure" and the virus at once, becomming what he is now.
Looks:He appears very short at 3.9,and commonly wears hoods on his clothing. This causes only two, glowing green eyes to be visible most of the time.
Gender:M
5 Constitution
5 Strength
5 Wisdom
5 Intelligence
5 Charisma
6 Perception
EDIT:Now slightly shorter than a christamas/x-mas elf.

>Don reloads his pistol if necessary, then opens the trap door, and tries to determine if there are any threats within the secret room. If not, climb down and see what is there. First priority is weapons and ammunition, then useful equipment, then water and food. If there is a handgun or light-medium melee weapon (knife/baseball bat/machete/etc.), he takes it/one (and ammunition, if it is a pistol) for himself. After searching and bringing anything useful and portable up to the main floor, he lets the others know what he found, because he isn't the sort of person who would lie to people he has to live with.

Hyrum checks to make sure his pistol is loaded, and keeps the trap door covered while Don opens it.  If a threat makes itself known, he will eliminate the threat.  Once basement area is secured, he looks for any knives, wrenches, or crowbars that could serve as a melee weapon.  After that, he searches for any reloading or shop equipment.  At all times, he stays with Don.

Hiko

Give Tyrin the hunting rifle.

"Here make sure to report absolutely 'anything' that you can see up there." "In case it is a threat we are going to want to prepare some barricades, where the hell is that damn Christmas elf?"

"Also Danielle did you find anything interesting when you cleaning up those corpses?"

Daniëlle

she looks a little shocked, rummages trough one of her pockets and then says "Oh yeah... I found this" showing Hiko the gold ring. "maybe we can trade it for food, heh... I couldn't imagine anyone valueing gold over food though"

she throws Hiko the ring and puts her hands on her hips. "is there anything you want me to work on?"

Hiko

"Thanks, though I really think right now ammo should be our priority, we had few pistol clips even before we checked the headquarters. And if you want something to do you can help Jangle plan out the fortifications so we are ready when a horde of those zombies pops up on the horizon."

Trade with Zed

"Hey Zed! This ring worth anything to ya?" "We could definitely use some more pistol clips."

Daniëlle

"ah man... that psycho freaks me out..." she sighs "anyway, I'm on it"

and she takes off at jogging speed.

>Daniëlle will help out with the fortification efforts.

ooc (most pistols actually use Magazines instead of clips. I don't completely understand the difference between clips and magazines myself, I think it has something to do with the method the next bullet is brought into the chamber  http://lonelymachines.org/2008/05/05/gun-terminology-some-clarification/)

Markus

"Hiko, see if his brother can bring some medical supplies. Even a first-aid kit would help, there wasn't anything in that building!"
He sounds more traumatized by that revelation than the fact that he was executing zombies just a little while ago.

Hunt around for anything that might be worth something.

Update 5: coming soon to a theater near you!!!! :D

Hiko addresses Zed with the gold ring. "Does this interest you in any way?"
"Holy shit, no way man" He looks at the ring, wide eyed. "thats my Wifes ring, She died a while back and ive been looking for it." He stares at Hiko
"Im supposing your not gonna just hand it over?" "alright, Ill make you a deal, ill give you 10 boxes of shotgun shells and 10 pistol clips, along with a .44 magnum with 3 boxes of that ammo, what you say?"

Hiko looks at the ring and then hands it over. Zed hands him the stuff while Markus goes into the fort. he heads to the beds and enters the building. He walks towards the bathroom, since the room is as of no mess had happened, and looks through the medkit inside. he finds some painpills, a roll of tape and some Gauss. On his way out he notices a tiny crack in the wall. He thinks nothing of it at the time.

Hyrum and Don open the floor hatch, with guns ready. They open it, to see a basement with lighting still active. Don looks at Hyrum and then heads inside. Don looks around the room. It is quite small, fit for at most, 2 people. There is a desk on one side and a cabinet on the other. In the drawers of the desk are some pieces of paper, a pencil, a .357 magnum and a bottle of Vodka(Russian made too :D ). In the cabinet are 2 more hunting rifles and some more .357 clips, about 5 more. Don goes back up while Hyrum keeps looking through the basement.

Elsewhere, Tyrin walks up to the watch tower and climbs the steps. He un-shoulders his rifle and aims down the scope. What he sees is a big suprise and a shock. He tries to count the amount of Zombies there are but there are too many to know exactly. He runs up to Hiko as he puts the last of the Ammo into the truck. "Hiko, come quick, we have a serious problem." Hiko grabs the binoculars and follows Tyrin. They both pear off into the desert, watching the Zombies come. Hiko then turns around and yells out to the others, "Everyone, stop searching around and listen, we have maybe 6-9 hours to ready some fortifications." Daniëlle looks up and sighs, moving some planks around the fort, getting some barricades made.

Jingle also help Daniëlle with it, seeing as how he is doing nothing at the moment. Hiko sighs heavily as Don and Hyrum walks out from the Mess hall, carrying the new Weapons and ammo they just found. Hiko thinks to himself, wondering what to do next.

((finally got this update up after my long work process, sorry bout that guys.))

Store the medkit in a safe location, and assist with fortifications.

Tyrin slung the rifle over his back, knowing that it obviously had a strap and walked towards the others, abandoning his post.

"Well, we have time. Inspect every building, find some nails and junk. What does everyone know of the enemy? Should we make a lure for them or a chokepoint?

This place looks like it needs some personal touches too, and a fall back plan incase the worst happens.

Also, we're in for something big later on. Get some sleep, rest on, ready yourselves, I hope our leader knows what he's doing.

Search for supplies (Fortify-purpose).

((
Gauss

Did you mean a Gauss cannon
or
Spoiler: gauze (click to show/hide)

It might make a bit of difference as to how we defend the fort.
jkjk  :P))

>Don notices Hyrum staring at the .357 with a strange glimmer in his eyes. He quickly speaks, "Hey, man, I know you've been looking for one of these for a while. Go nuts," and hands it to him handle first, along with all of the fast-loaders. He checks the hunting rifles for ammunition, before placing them in the truck bed. He pockets the paper and pencil; they might come in handy for making a map. He then walks over to Hiko, casually asking him what he got in trade, and then if he could have one spare pistol magazine, as well as the .44 and its ammunition, ending with a line that every one of them knew all too well, "No such thing as too much backup, eh?"

>Don asks Markus, "So did you see anything unusual in there, or are we clear?"

>Don sits down in the truck bed, and practices unloaded and reloading his pistol (and, if given, the .44 revolver) several times, to get used to the motions. If he was given the .44, he empties the bullets from one of the boxes of ammunition into his pockets, to make them easier to access in a hurry. The spare pistol clips (and other boxes of ammunition, if applicable) go into his pockets.

>(IF HUNTING RIFLES HAVE AMMUNITION, THEN) Don mentions to everyone in the area that he's going to unload one and take the other and all the ammunition for it up to Tyrin, as it would be better for someone with experience with rifles to use it as well, rather than one of us wasting ammunition.

>After this, assuming no interruptions, Don limbers up a bit and moves to assist Daniëlle and Jingle in their efforts in whatever capacity he can.
