((Dwarfs are first come, first serve. I'm using Genesis Mod and Phoebes Tile set. The Idea is that we're sent here to make a small outpost, but we end up building a giant tower in the middle of the canyon.))

Dear Merridew Dorenduthnur,
Your Reassignment Case Has Been Closed.
You will be joining a team of dwarfs sent to the Western Regions near our borders to establish a small outpost at a river fork.
Your Departure Date: 16 Opal 125
I was beginning to doubt my place among the higher dorfs when they shoved me into that Armok forsaken wagon, made for two, but fitting six other smelly dwarfs and a meager amount of supplies. Only 60 barrels of booze! I nearly fainted at the thought of running out. No worries, I'd put these useless dwarfs to work pumping out plumps and wine. Even the wagon was pulled by two mismatching animals, a Camel and a Yak! At least they gave us two war dogs, and a mighty pair at that. Beautiful animals they were.
And these dwarfs... Ugh... what a bunch. Rowdy, and unkempt. They were common.

When we finally came upon the site, I became very happy. It was beautiful. The falls were letting mist fly above the canyon, plenty of fish could be seen from to top where we stopped the wagon. The wet white chalk walls all down the 8 Z drop were a beautiful sight to behold. I now had huge visions for this outpost. I Shall Make them regret turning me down at the mountain homes.
