Here is my view.....Since claiming truthfully will help the mafia in the end, it gives them targets and honestly, they can lie about their roles. They can kill the people who actually do something significant for the town side. By the end of a few nights they can kill off the major roles. So, Leafsnail, may I ask, what do we gain from claiming truthfully? How can it surpass what the mafia(assuming they lie.) gets out of it?

Penngo, it's probably LyLo. We use massclaiming to find inconsistencies between claims, to cut down on potential lynch candidates. It benefits the town to claim. Please do so.

You generally want to avoid implying you and your teammates are the only people playing. This here is a pretty good example of what not to say at LyLo, as any faction.

The block flavor implies it would be a commando doing the blocking. The only reason for the block I can see is the blocker thinking I was scum, and assuming that the other scum would use me to do the kill, because nobody would block a replacement requester. So yeah.

It doesn't matter whether the mafia has targets for subsequent nights if there are no subsequent nights due to town losing.

Mafia can lie about their roles, but they often struggle to and claiming could help verify your role if you are town.  But since you aren't claiming I guess you aren't.

Native isn't playing, but yes, I am sure that lynching newbie scum who's struggling to work out whether he should claim his role as a poisoner or not is a good idea.

Probably because it isn't called anything. Lessee, "I didn't" would be a good start. That he didn't outright deny poisioning IO after being asked the question is suspicious. You know what's also suspicious? The fact that inspecting Jim on N1 and getting roleblocked last night is really easy cover for a poisoner.

Are you seriously trying to argue that snares and smoke balls are things that commandos do? They fit the Ninja stereotype perfectly. Commandos are bullets and napalm, not subtle stuff.
