Woohoo! Update! How quickly did Max die? I had a Sim set her rear on fire at the inventing bench once but she made it to a shower to save herself.

Oddly, it only took him about 10 minutes in game. Usually it takes about 45 minutes. O_o He was already singed, though, so that probably had some effect.

Max White's traits include "Unlucky". That means that bad shit will happen to him (like setting himself on fire, or being mauled by zombie bears in the mausoleum,) but when it inevitably kills him, Death will just point and laugh, then give him a new body.
