@Gunin
I've found that doing free hand doesn't help to much, and using a ruler is generally not something you want need to use. Any other ideas? Or is 'practice more' the best solution here?
I've been doing similar, so I might try something to show how good/bad I am.
Nothing wrong with using a ruler, but if you don't want to, then yes, 'practice more' it is. Rulers are BY FAR the best tool for making straight lines, just like how a compass is the best tool for making perfect circles. Personally i don't use a ruler simply because i'm too lazy. :v
Shook, there's just something about some of your art that demands to be scribbled on.
(If you were looking for the obvious critique on your knight-kicking, the kicked knight was too well balanced for someone who's about to be knocked over)
Ah yes, that makes sense. It should've struck me before that a center of gravity above the base of support is how you DON'T fall over. :v
Also that is excellent, i considered shoving flowers into the mouth of the seagull as well, but it seems like i won't have to now! I've actually been thinking about releasing many of my doodles under a Creative Commons license exactly to promote this kind of stuff, and hey, if it works out, maybe i could make a colouring book one day and make a fat wad o' dosh off of that.
edit: also walrus
I just noticed that Krita 3.0 is out so i installed it and lost all my brush settings, good job me. :v
