Cool to the point where I saw some things I just wanted to make into a seperate picture (a mask/face, a Steampunk-ish robot and a floating tank)

The first bone on the middle finger is too long. It should only be slightly longer than the first bone on the index finger.
Good job, though. Hands are a pain to draw.

I changed a walrus's wiht gimp. It isn't much, and it was fairly easy, but I have a new desktop background.

Heh. My desktop picture is my very first dwarf fortress. Not a picture of it in its prime, no siree, this was when the goblins got through what I thought was a bin but was actually a stair, and tore all my dwarves to pieces.

It has about as much purple as that walrus.

A beautiful, lovely miasma purple.

My first decent fortress (that is, one where I didn't ragequit at the huge 140+ population rise) is still going.

We're being sieged by a force of 72.

My background (once I figure out how to get Nitrogen to start up with the computer) is a black screen wtih "Welcome back, commander" in monospaced font written on it, to make it feel yet more sci-fi than it already does. (My terminal has Matrix-green text!)

In other news, I had the sudden urge to make a not-shitty webcomic, so expect some kind of hopefully decent image of the main character.

Note that I intend to draw the entire comic in that sort of format. I didn't say that the ART couldn't be shitty, right?

Kind of hard to make sprites with limited space. Or at least, I'm not good at it. This one is only 18x18 pixels.

Still can't find any pencils at home.

Sprites can get pretty small.

Right. My sprite there is a bit larger than most other sprites used in the game, even. I'm even worse at large sprites, so I don't know why I said that.

Yeah, I sort of half-assed most of the hand since I don't really know how to draw them. Speed sketching is usually my approach to drawing things I see.

On the topic of speed sketching here's a globe. It's larger than life since I'm drawing it from a distance, so I didn't bother with making the land edges accurate.
