I have two extracted games of df in this single .rar file. One is a fort and the other are adventurers. Both I've had laying around for a while.

I kept this save because the last time I had a good tantrum spiral and survived I regretted not saving in the last moments of the spiral.

Here is a fort that has five dwarves left after a tantrum spiral. The leader is a Legendary Weaponsmith. Caverns have not been breached yet. Corpses and stuff scattered pretty well. It's a small fort (I think 40ish max pop in the init) working on filling up a good sized tunnel with coffins. There isn't much wood but basically right now your major emergency is lack of coffins as they can't make them fast enough here to keep another dwarf from going over the edge due to seeing friends rot. Ghosts have popped up and been put to rest, not sure if there are any currently. There should be a bunch of well made iron armor laying around, along with a whole bunch of high quality iron weapons and ammunition. Since I didn't have much wood and beds are the difference between sanity and not here, I didn't make anything steel yet. There is an artifact mace that I recommend keeping in possession of the Legendary Weaponsmith, who you will want to keep an eye on as he is the current leader and died mysteriously when I played past this point until FPS got me.

The first is a pretty standard two handed sword superhero, since I hadn't done much adventuring before this version. He was how I learned without being dead too soon.

The second adventurer is much cooler. He's a peasant (I think) unaffiliated with any faction due to being a wanderer. That means when you meet a new bandit group they don't target you. After killing off anyone you brought from a town to join your adventures, the bandits will agree to join you. Then, when you journey to the nearest town, the bandits will begin a very sweet murderfest. You could join if you want, but I found that makes you an enemy of that civilization.

While this is only somewhat cool, what's best is that he only has one leg and one arm and walks with a crutch. In an early battle against a hydra I think it was, he bravely charged into the fight with weapon and shield. Shortly thereafter he heroically crawled away into a corner bleeding from his stumps as his peasant friends killed the hydra with their knives.

After the hydra was dead, I was expecting Dastot to bleed to death. However, the bleeding stopped and I crawled to a nearby town with a backpack full of megabeast, which was more than enough for a +willow crutch+.

After learning to walk again, Dastot Debanan Kib Udos, or Dastot Eatennight the Net of Men, began recruiting townsmen to fight various monsters. On the way to the abode of the beast these townsmen were usually ambushed in their sleep and killed by bandits who spared and joined Dastot if he didn't start fighting them. Dastot didn't care who he worked with as long as they were alive to fight the monster.

Eventually Dastot found a way into the underground. Unfortunately he is currently lost there with a bunch of people who joined him. If you lose yourself well enough there in the caverns is there a way to find your way out? I sure as heck don't know so I suppose that's your challenge if you want to play this guy somewhere other than wandering underground.

I made a copy and checked legends, which explains the starved to death bit. He also has about 10 pages of being a Legendary Hero to civilizations and groups.
