I have my trade depot positioned above ground. below is my underground farming area. Somehow the human wagons fell through the trade depo and into the sealed off farm?

edit: i tried digging out ramps for them to get out by, but accidently collapsed the cave and pissed off the traders, making them leave. The wagons then procceeded to leave through the trade depo again. Very strange.
