It feels so good!!!

I have successfully slaughtered my first group of rhesus Macaques with a miner/militia commander. It was awesome!

It is indeed very satisfying. On par with shooting down a buzzard and watching it splat on impact.

Yeah, I finally decided to let my dorfs stand up for themselves, not just stand idle near the wagon until those damned monkies got bored and left.

I hate those monkies and buzzards. Spamming me with all these job cancellations just because they're too afraid to fight. I swore the LIKES_TO_FIGHT token would just make them beat the crap out of them...

And I mean, NOTHING...

Feels better than having one of your horses kick a goblin general in the head, and seeing the blow sever their upper spine.

The goblin drops everything it's holding, falls to the ground, and dies rather quickly.

It's beautiful.

I had a giant eagle, not even war trained but tame, "bought" from the elves, which then decided to rush a squad of bow-goblins and bite off the elite bowgob's head in one swoop, to then instantly get killed by loads of arrows after.

I'll never forget you, heroic giant eagle which probally saved my militia's lives from being fortification-fucked.

I had that happen recently, I can verify that this is indeed very satisfying, especially if said buzzard had been interrupting civilians the annoying birds they are.
