I don't think I've ever met someone who 'hates' My Little Pony.

In almost all cases, it's the FANDOM they "hate" ( but a closer word is probably 'disapprove' )
I've found in most cases too, these people are just internet Hipster-wanna'be's.

Yes, it could very well be done. It would only take a little bit of modding. Hell, you could probably just paste the DS raws over the pony ones, as the pony entities and creatures are in separate files than the normal creatures 

But we'll have to wait for the update to finally arrive.
