EDIT: This isn't gonna work in a writing challenge. Time to rewrite, this will be my sixth try.

Okay looking over the app's so far, there are five applications I like. So they will be in the game, the following people who are in are Micelus, King of Weasels, Fniff, Strife, and Ibid Straydrink.

Remember, the smaller the description of your character the less chance you have of getting in. Also, just because this is freeform writing doesn't mean you can give your characters uber-awesome overpowered items/abilities. It would give the writer more of an excuse to be able to kill anything, which would ruin the fun wouldn't it?

Anyways, if you haven't got in feel free to re-do parts of your character and send it in again.

Yeah, my mistake, I wasn't sure whether or not it would make a difference and figured everyone else would do the same. Want me to trim that list?

Your character is fine, if you feel you need to make improvements do it. Either way your still in the game.

Right - I've now scrapped mutant gang leader, genetically-engineered human, an ageless shaman, a spirit of dreams, a voodoo priestess, that derpy supersoldier - let's see if I can write up a robotic officer of the 18th Century Royal Navy who's beginning to realize his world is a lie. Shame Behindthename isn't working, now I'll have to *gasp* think something up myself.

Username: Digital Hellhound

Name: Lieutenant Samuel Pierce

Gender: 'Male'

Race: Android

Equipment/Abilities: Flintlock pistol and sabre

Description: Samuel has a short, wiry build easily concealed inside a heavy grandcoat. He wears the uniform of the Royal Navy, though not one recognizable to a real 18th century sailor. His clothes are from several different periods and made out of anachronistic materials - one of the first things he realized were wrong with his world. His features are somewhat nondescript and easily forgettable.

Samuel is steadfast and calm in any situation, something that, according to his memories, led to his promotion to Lieutenant. He likes to consider every alternative before embarking on something and is not very flexible or willing to change his plans after choosing.

Biography: Samuel Pierce would love to believe he was born in London in 1782, has a loving wife and an adventurous little boy, and a prestigious career in the Royal Navy behind him. He would like to believe the war would be over soon and he could see them again after all these years.

In truth, 'Samuel Pierce' was born in a stasis pod on board an old, nondescript freighter with the designation ROK-2056, together with hundreds of thousands of his kind. Every day, he awakens to another day of fierce combat against a fleet of French ships for the amusement of New Hong Kong's general public. Sometimes they win - sometimes they do not. He has died, more than once. He doesn't know if Samuel Pierce was a real person, his mind somehow pulled from the distant past to be implanted in another identical android body, or just a construct, like his bodies.

Tourists flock to New Hong Kong to enjoy its massive-scale combats, broadcasted across all inhabitated space for all hours of the day. It seems so real, and yet no-one is harmed. No-one real, anyhow. Pierce's faux-Napoleonic War naval battles are far from the only shows running - and when the public grows weary of it, the bodies will be recycled, their minds wiped utterly clean...

'Samuel' does not know how long he has been fighting. He always awakens to the same day, no matter how differently it may go. Lately, however, he's began to notice some... inconcistencies in the world around him. Sometimes he awakens with fragmented memories of a different life, another battle fought on the seas or even in places totally alien to him. Everyone seems to look the same, once you've seen beyond the little signs of personality and switched-around facial features, and even worse, studying their bodies reveals them as not-quite human. And sometimes he sees things in the sky that don't belong there. He remembers these things in his next 'life', even though he has no idea where they're coming from.

But now he's beginning to draw the attention of his audience as well - the same combatant, somehow remembering the French plan of attack, seeming to gain in skill more and more every passing day, investigating glitches in the show...

Come on people! I really want to get this game started this week, remember that if you didn't get in chances are you just have to make your bio longer or your character more interesting!

The game won't really work that way, since it is sort of a writer competetion. I'd rather prefer to have a full 8 players first.

Okay, but if this thread is dead for a long while, I'd suggest considering it.

Username: UltraValican
Name: Darvir McGuardsmen
Gender: Do I look like a one of those F*cking pedophiles we call the sisters of battle
Equipment: Glorified Flashlight Lasgun, carapace armor, helmet
Description: He has dark skin. Short black hair and brown eyes.
Bio:The following monologue was found in a tear-stained journal
I was sent to some godforsaken planet in a godforsaken star system, to fight a bunch of angry peasants just because doing it doggy is HERESY. I have seen some of my best friends heads blown up for no other good reason besides, "Xenos are there, kill them." I was torn a way from my family over some used up planets.
F*ck the Imperium
F*ck the Emperor
F*ck  the Orks
F*ck Tzeech
F*ck Nurgle
F*ck Sla- On second thought avoid Slaneesh
F*ck the Eldar ( Note: Doing it doggy is heresy but rampant rape of xenos is not)
F*ck Khorne
F*ck the Necrons (insert witty joke about ancient terran novel)
I am sick of this. I am so sick of this. They captured an Eldar( I have a jornal for any inquisitors curious about the treatment of female Eldar prisoners), so now’s my perfect time to escape. Where, I don't know, but its better than dying over HERESY
Wish me luck, The Emperor dosn't do sh*t.
