I once had a dwarven mayor decide to take a stroll all the way across the river, 3/4 the map away from my fort and conduct the meeting with the liason right there. In the middle of a snowstorm.

It..... was amusing though for story potential. Newly elected mayor, decides to conduct his meeting not in his office/room but halfway across the map. Nope. Nothing suspicious about that whatsoever. Nadda. Zip.
