....Elections Disabled?

I'd like to see your filters, by the way.
yea, i admit i would get no where with democracy. This is a dictatorship. But obviously not the worst one.

The filter was of my land holdings, sorry forgot to move the mouse. All won through war.

How in the world did you disable elections, though?

I meant that I wanted to see the other filters, like ideology and such.

I meant that I wanted to see the other filters, like ideology and such.

Ideology is more or less same, all countries embraced my ideas of capitalism. I'm keeping a tight leash on them ;p

My ethics rating is Curropt, but is surprizingly one of the top ratings, above that of even canada lol. Damn canada, you're treacherous, whoda thunk it.

I've effectively stomped out all countries desire for power, most being leveled at assertive or lower, and 2(middle eastern countries of course) being "aggressive"...might have to get my boot on...

My leadership effectiveness is 100%.

My country has 0% concern with their government, spies, and social stability. It has near 0% concern with the economy and thread of military conflict, though has 100% concern with nuclear attack. Working on that.

Edit: you can chance the election settings in the options.

You are forgetting one thing my friend: France. Despite being capitalist, they are always excluded from the U.S. World Team Alliance. Plus on occasion I seen France "be at odds" with the United States. I suggest you occasionally check with your National Security Adviser for his opinion of that country. If he says "Harmony of Interest", "Friendship", or "Cooperation," then leave them alone... attacking them, embargoing them, CIAing them, or anything bad will result members of your staff resigning. However if France is marked as "Indifference", "Competition", "Enmity", or "Rivalry", then you can take action against them, such as a ground invasion. And since France is surrounded on all sides by your allies, you really don't need to build up that much. In fact, since you took over much of the world, may as well let one of your allies, say Germany, take over France.

I guess with that many troops, you need not worry about the strengths of any rogue states out there. I hope you do still have the CIA Director around since he practically predicts when someone is about to pull an aggressive move, such as an assassination attempt.

I lost my SoD and SoS, and obviously those are both thriving, so good riddance :p

Still have the others, i only listen to those things like "Bolivia is moving troops along wherever" and such, just never ask my advisers before i do an action.

mimzanque

That's a new one, Mimzanque? Mozambique perhaps? You don't mess with Mozambique, they've got an AK-47 (with a bayonet) and a hoe on their flag.

I downloaded a National Flag quiz on my phone.  Mozambique is one of my favorites. Oman is kind of warrior like too. Barbados has a trident which I like.

I thought it was strange to put semi-modern firearm on your flag. There is a point between modern and historic where things look out of date. What will they do then?

Anyways, this is a fun LP, thanks for posting it.

The most interesting thing I know about Mozambique is that it seceded from South Africa.

Okay, update on the post-apocalyptic scenario I am working on. Due to a small flaw in the game, I will not be able to use "Environment" as an ideology. Reason being is it refuses to show up on the ideology chart, no matter how many states hold that ideology. So Western Europe will remain Capitalist. Yugoslavia will likely be Fascist. Ireland will be Socialist. As for Eastern Europe, I am debating whether they will join the German-led Capitalist bloc or fold back into the Soviet bloc, the latter representing the USSR taking advantage of the US pullout from mainland Europe. Also most of Middle East, Turkey & Pakistan included, will be switched to Fundamental Islam to stand against US aggression. Israel will likely be Imperialist. Should South America remain as they are? Oh, by the way, it seems Dev. Capitalism is not compatible with the German-led Capitalist bloc.

Does anyone know how to pre-program conflicts into new scenarios? I wanted to add a Yugoslav invasion of Albania and Irish attacks on the UK.

Edit: The United Kingdom is Imperialist and allies with Imperialist USA.

Ok, I need assistance. I have no idea what to do to save the current game from populalarity ELECTION-death. There aren't any targets to surgical strike that would help me, military spending discouragements will not work, due to the extremely high military spending we have, peace agreements simply don't work and the elections are coming up. I think it's time for a poll.

Gah, why the fuck did I write voting instead of elections?

I certainly wouldn't set all Eastern European countries as the same bloc.  Some held onto their Soviet connections far longer than others, while some were far quicker to seek Western acceptance.  Note that only about half of the Eastern European countries are part of the EU even today, which in my mind is clearly a "German-led Capitalist Bloc", although Germany seriously plays down its role due to world fears of Germany trying to take over the world again.

There are also cases like Ukraine, where there wasn't a particularly strong push towards Western systems but a seething hatred towards Russia/the USSR.
