Because Tala works with the DE and I work for her, and therefore we are probably threats to Ligoria? Like I said, don't take my intense suspicion and slight distrust personally. Dwarmin is one of my favorite people on B12 but given the nature of the game I half-expect Tala to sell Pasha out the minute it seems like she's about to be caught. I don't expect Kathos to recognize Pasha as a spy immediately. You'll keep me around as long as I'm useful, at the very least... but I'm also certain you'll be wary of me to an extent you wouldn't be if I hadn't said OOC the nature of the character. If, for example, I had merely said he was a tactician and arrived in Ligoria without a past connection to Tala, the issue of spies wouldn't have come up until Avitus mentioned it.

@Taricus: unlikely, bodyguards are just bodyguards. If one tried to do something like that then he would not survive a season. And you won't be able to play as him, as per inheritance rules.

I know I won't be able to play as them, However, no players have actually gotten up to the level that Laythe would name them as a likely successor so one of her bodyguards takes over. Could turn Ligoria into a republic then though

She/He has much of a chance of survival if he declares he's the king of Ligoria, as William would if he declared himself heir apparent of Lonemine.
Which is about as long as it takes for somebody to find a crossbow, sword, or dagger.
