You should generally edit your posts instead of double-posting.

(I wouldn't normally be pedantic, but this kind of stuff helps people not think you are too young to bother with... just general rules of etiquette.)

What he means: If you find have more to say after you have posted something, rather than writing a new post to say it, click the link labelled "Edit" and write whatever else you were going to say there.

Unless you want your post count to go up, which makes you seem more experienced on forums where it is clearly visible. But it would still be bad etiquette.

fakeedit: if we want to keep discussing forum etiquette, then make a thread specifically for it.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

Because they don't try not to be, and they haven't learned how not to be.

So it's a learning process then? So server admins are actually the bad guys when they just ban them, instead of gently guiding them through puberty...

Yeah, if you don't tell people your age unless they ask and also are polite and grammatically solid, no one except the assholes out there will dislike you. Honestly, once you make a real effort to be mature and be a cool person, the people who will still hate you are the people you wouldn't want to be around anyway. Everybody I play with in Team Fortress 2 thinks that I must be 23, but I'm actually 16. Simply compliment people on doing a good job even if they are on the other team, be sociable, and say hello in a friendly and charming manner, and they can't help but like you.
REMEMBER: This is the internet. Age could not matter less. It is what you say and how you say it that matters.

Just want to quickly pop in here to say that Pixar actually is Disney.

Also, Disney's animated theatrical releases have been consistently high quality for a long time. There are relatively few that go lower than mediocre. Disney was especially strong during the 90s.

my attempt to re-rail the thread: Why ARE most pre-teens so annoying?
This, my good sir, all comes down to hormones. Before puberty (which USUALLY sets in at ~11 years), people tend to act immature (because, quite frankly, they are), which annoys the more mature folks. This is not a universal constant, but it's reliable enough for some people to shut out a whole age group. It's typically only the more intelligent children who break out of this group, so consider yourself awesome if you do. To be painfully blunt, most admins don't want to deal with whiny little brats, which is probably why they act like they do. (note: i don't condone their acts)

Then comes puberty. Boys start overflowing with testosterone, and their minds are like "whoa holy shit this is awesome man", but is not used to it yet, thus causing instability and insecurity much of the time. This manifests as random rage and annoying behaviour. I'm only 19 years old myself, so i'm hardly past  that period yet, but it definitely was worst around 12-15 years of age. When people are in this age group, it's not unreasonable to expect behaviour similar  to a pissy wasp, but obviously this isn't the case all the time (which is readily apparent in this thread). Although pissy wasps are different from whiny brats, not many want to deal with them either.

As for what i think, i could hardly care less about physical age (in terms of communication only), maybe unless you're like 9 and coming on to me, in which case i'd have to make some distance. But otherwise, if you're a cool person to be around, then age doesn't matter. A bit of childish behavior isn't a bad thing in my eyes, since i'm a bit of a man child myself. :P

Talking about age, I've noticed many 12 year olds going onto 13 and then start insulting 12 year olds.

And 14 year olds insulting 13 year olds.

And 15 year olds insulting 14 year olds.

To be honest, it never changes, soon the old man will be crying "WHIPPERSNAPPERS" to little children.

Sorry but I fall into that group. It's not my fault, I like some of the younger kids I know. Some just think they are better than me. They are terribly mistaken.

Pixar and dreamworks aren't really Disney, the deal was Pixar and Dreamworks would do EXCACTLY what they did,but disney would get money now,and they would get better resources.

Edit: (yes i should start getting used to use this :P)

Thank you for your advice, i think what i got out of this thread is that the best way to avoid people hating on me because of my age,is just to be cool, polite, and act as anyone should to have fun, avoid making trouble and...erm...improove my spelling :'(

I belive the main problem i usually have that is related to my age...is sometimes making such a big fuzz out of dumb things...thankully, i notice thats a problem, so i work on it and i have managed to avoid unecesary problems for a looong time.

It seems to me that there is always a problem on the internet about culture. General people assume that people on the internet are from the same country/culture as they are, and so people will call out on somebody else because they have awful grammar, but maybe that person lives on the other side of the world and knows only basic English. I've been learning Spanish for 3 years, but I bet if I went on a Spanish-speaking forum and tried to post stuff my spelling and grammar would be terrible.

The age limits are very bothersome to me, BECAUSE I CAN'T GO TO THE DANG GYM ALONE! This honestly bothers me so much especially because I am pretty well a regular... but I have to go with my mother.

Age limits have pros and cons, for me right now, mostly cons.
