Right. Use Mewthree's wish on Lucius, fire arrows from Vanity, finish this damn thing strong. I'm gonna head to bed. Good luck, you all.

blegh, I'm 2 for 2 on falling asleep during this game. At least the server kept going. Have it all saved for next time. :P Sucks that I missed the only real combat we had all night.

Really don't know what it is about this character that just puts me to sleep. I never had this trouble with the other game...

Oh well, I guess cya on wed.

She is rather quiet maybe?

But anyway, sorry about the game, I let my temper get the best out of me a bit by the time I left.

Yeah, well it's easy to lose temper late at night, I know. You were more controlled than I was. :P

Also, I've got a suggestion for tonight on the push contest-assuming we're seeing it through instead of having it interrupted with sky pirates rappeling from hovering ships-to make it a bit quicker.

Pretty much, if a pokemon gets pushed *before* their turn order, they get flinched for that round, and make no more moves for that round.

It seems fast pokemon like my fearow are actually at a disadvantage, since whoever they push gets a bonus move afterward, and then they have to defend themselves again, after winning a slot. Just a small thing, should speed us up ALOT. Sound cool?

Seems a little over the top to me.

Hey Beth, make a DC 5 strength check! (she does) (target loses their turn)
I'd just make the target unable to move, but still able to use moves... then again, I'm new, so take my advice with a shaker full of salt.

Also, about the Birthrights Hatcher feature... Do I pick *any* ability for that pokemon, or just any of the abilities on its ability lists? If so, I'm guessing it has to be on only the first form's list? Can I teach it a High Ability, or just Basic Abilities?

I managed to keep it controlled because I left. If I hadn't I'd probably take it out on you guys. Also, thankfully I didn't needed to make a DST. If I had, then the whole thing would probably go even worse. =p

On a side-note, maybe we should make the test a d8. It's big enough that luck still matters, but it make the power capability matter a lot more.

@Shoruke: It would just be for this contest thing we're doing right now, not in normal battle. :P

Also, the wording is unclear on that. Def need a GM ruling.

I think the issue with the push contest is kinda moot. It's already been stated that there is GM shenanigans ready to go. And we all agreed that the d20 checks were really random with a 1-6 or whatever power check. I don't know how much more pushing will happen tonight, but next time we do power checks I think it should be using a D6 or D8 die.

As to the ability thing, I'd bet on it being only the normal abilities listed, not the high ability. Since that one is supposed to come in at level 40 as a bonus ability. That's quite a jump to make it come out at level 1 with only that ability. Though I suppose you then forfeit your high ability later on...

anyway, Server will be up in a couple hours here, going to watch some youtube(DF let's plays) first though.

I'll be out to drink with a friend, so I'll not be particularly early today, and I might be somewhat drunk by the start of the session. Luckily thanks to my fast metabolism and the differing time zones I shouldn't have much problems with the whole deal.

GM Shenanigans are a contingency in case the contest gets too long and boring. I'd hate for every challenge we do to be interrupted by plot.

For the Hatcher's Egg Advantage feature, the hatching pokemon can (possibly) learn any move that appears on its own Egg Move list, as long as one of the parents has it on their level up or tutor move lists?

Yes. There is no limit, as long as the move is in any of their movelists or their LVLUP or TUTOR movelists.

I'm going to have to ask you to join the IRC channel at #pokeymans @ irc.thisisnotatrueending.com, since I really don't like to answer questions with quick and easy answers on the forums.
