Interesting items:
- Soul Converter (shop bought): Basically the opposite of Guppy's Paw, use it to turn two soul hearts into one real heart container.
- Shielded Tears (item room): My tears traded with enemy ones on collision. Pretty cool against bullet spammers, could be bad if you have a high damage/low tears build.
- A devil room item that gave me coins whenever I was hurt (I think? Or it might have just increased coin spawns, I certainly got a lot)
- A battery that lets use items store an extra charge (weird secret devil room)
- "Magic fingers" (weird secret devil room): consumed a coin every time I used it, no idea what it actually did.
- Mom's Wig (item room): spawned friendly blue spiders everywhere, the number just seemed to keep increasing.
- A trinket that increases shot speed, and another that increased tear size (I think?)
- "I can see forever" pills: gives you the effect of "I see everything" for one floor, very useful
Interesting rooms:
- A wider variety of locked rooms, which was cool. Double locked rooms with a lot of minor pickups in them, a library-like room but with four cards instead of books, and a dice room that went dark for some weird reason and gave me four minor pickups including a soul heart (no idea what the room is supposed to be)
- Rooms can now have moving spikes, and also I encountered one where you needed a bomb to advance through it. Also I found some apparently invincible blue fires that didn't do anything else.
- Weirdest room: after blowing up a rock I found a trapdoor. After going down this trapdoor there was a very brief side-scrolling section (no, really) that came out in this quasi-devil room with four items (shop items I think?) available for one heart each. This room also had an exit trapdoor and both kinds of beggars.
