Should I revert it? Also, I did skip the turn order, but there's no way anyone's making contact with anyone else this turn anyway, so for this round at least I personally don't mind just going through it as fast as possible.

You know what, I'm going to go with 10 as well, just to avoid hassle, I still think JF has caused needless complications however.

Have you colonized before? Did you colonize by 10 last time, if you did then colonize by 8, if you last colonized by eight then colonize by 10.

Everyone else is going with 10. So... 10?

Also, please add two more provinces for me directly on the east coast of Italy, following my straight line. I did 8, I didn't realize everyone was doing 10.
