Android games?

I'm getting an asus eee transformer tomorrow, and I was wondering, are there any good android games I should be aware of? Preferably free, of course.

Also, to what extent can I (or not) run linux things in it?

All the Kairosoft games. All of them. Game Dev Story, Hot Spring Story, and Gran Prix Story

I liked Cyberlords Arcology.  Played like the old Sega Genesis Shadowrun game.

Other than that, most of what I've found is pretty 'meh'.

I guess you can get Angry Birds.  And theres a pretty cool Labrynth game with clever 3d effects.

I must agree. Kairosoft games are fun.

If you want to try emulating android games easily on the computer try the YouWave android emulator. It's rather easy to use.

I used to play Dweller on my Blackberry all the time, it has an Android version.

Awesome post. I vote for KAIROSOFT games as well. They rock. I've played nethack and some other stuff on my galaxy, but honestly nothing much. The "story" games from kairosoft are all managment sims that really stand out for their simple, yet deep design. Hope you enjoy!
