How to start with 200 dwarfs?

Idea is simply, I want a lot of FUN :D ;D :D
And I dont like wait for new migrants :-X

The best way, make your dwarves extremely fertile and age very fast. Good luck.

I'm rather interested in this and hope one of the oldschool "loremasters" steps in and gives advice.

If I recall correctly there are a few utilities in the modding section that allow you to alter the number of dwarves you embark with. DFusion, if I recall correctly, is capable of this. I think there are also a few that specifically alter embarks, if you find DFusion too complicated for your tastes or whatever.
Be sure to alter the embark points using custom world gen so that you can compensate.

Thanks a lot, DFusion is working...
its quite complicated...
I used EMBARK plugin, when I was embarked and chosing location,
of course i have to edit races.txt in plugins/embark like that:
DWARF:1
DWARF:1
DWARF:1
DWARF:1
DWARF:1
...
...
...
and now I have 507 FUN

PS. if you using LazyPack it might be recommended to change population cap

Better yet mod dwarfs to lay eggs(and remove babies) and have it so they shoot out 200 each lay. use Dfusion's Egg hatcher and boom instant labor.
Though with that many dwarves with no tasks I wonder if therapist or some type of utility works with out screwing over Dfusion?

Only in dwarf fortress is "change your laborers so they have clutches of hundreds" a reasonable solution to any problem.

so... if one of your dwarfes was killed by a wild animal... you will have...

TANTRUM SPIRAL and TANTRUM AVALANCHE and berserkers

300 dead dwarfes in less than 3 months and rising!

I have the biggest cementary in my life

NEWS:
414/507 dead dwarfs in 3 months... the beginning was so promising :(((
