Sort of. They have to switch off, but yes.
It's basically people playing one game of DF and passing the keyboard around.

What do?

My current thoughts are to relocate him at the bottom of the dodge-em trap.  Raining down exploding gobbos in the middle of his room.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This is where he's currently living.. decent but not good enough to mandate electrum!

Here's the trouble maker:

This is on Server 1, so feel free to build something exotic for him.. but document!
PS: Any words on Muiro's server? Everything a-ok so far?

Something that just occurred to me:

Instead of having individual batch files/shell scripts for each server, and having to add/remove files and re-release when servers go up/down, why not have one batch file/shell script that fetches the server information from the registry and loads settings based on that? This would be trivial to do in Linux - a simple Python script with BeautifulSoup would do the trick. However, Windows users typically do not have Python installed, nor any other interpreters for other languages, so an executable or batch file would be ideal. Right now, the best solution I can come up with is to fetch the HTML for the site and parse it manually in a program. Any other suggestions for a better way to do this?

Sounds great!  I can rewrite the front-end of registry for text-only and more machine parsable and call it registry-bot or something.  Just let me know what format would be best?
How about: "name, host:port, status\n" ?

I think you're right though.  The windows and linux versions will diverge quite a bit by the time this is all done.  So don't worry too much about it being cross platform.  Eventually (wooo, that's being hopeful), i'm thinking a custom telnet client would be best (for windows anyways).  DizzyFoxkit and TerryDactyl also have related projects in the works.

Yeah, having a plain-text registry would be awesome. It makes parsing much easier. I'll get started on the stuff when I get home from school today.

EDIT: I took the liberty of making a Sourceforge project for DFMP, to make updating easier and to have all the downloads in one place:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dfmp/
Carnes, if you will join SourceForge and shoot me a message, I'll add you as an admin to the project.

Well, normally, stuff like this would happen by accident.

Perhaps it was done by accident. Carnes could likely tell you who was on at the time, maybe even who actually caused the flood with some accuracy.

Server logs are fun!

Well actually, someone built an aqueduct feeding from the river and poured water all over the fortress, without any discernible purpose other than to hydrate everything thoroughly.

Took a look at it and not sure if it's salvagable. The mayor is the only living dwarf (or I guess he was made the mayor after everyone drowned) and he's miserable.
