Basically, I wanted to try my hand at Modding, and noticed the fact GG isn't able to run his, and thought "Eh, why not."
So, without further gibgab, here're the rules!
7 players max.
Character Creation:Name: Quite clear. If you can't get this right, you aren't fit to play.
Equipment: You get 6 pieces of gear. They can be anything from the basic copper pick to end game Sunfury, although don't be gettin yer hopes up for the latter.
Name 6 pieces of equipment - Basic equipment, you get. Iron tier takes a get roll, Silver tier takes a -1 penalty to the roll, gold tier -2, and anything above that gets either a -3, or I can say "lolnope. You ain't godmode," to.
For things that stack, it's in regards to max stack size, so specify! 10% is guaranteed, 40% on -1, 70% on -2, 100% on -3. Additionally, the tier rules still apply. That means you get a -6 to rolls for poisoned knives... I doubt your chances.
Each life heart or mana star counts as a piece of iron equipment instead of a stack.
All rolls run on a d6, and varying bonuses and penalties will affect it. The basic levels of a roll are, after bonuses and penalties are applied:
- A horrible roll. You might just get more interesting flavor, or you might get actively hindered, depending on the mood I'm in, or how much of a lucky bastard you've been.
- A fail roll. You'll just get told you didn't get what you want and rapped knuckles. Probably the least interesting roll.
- A get roll. You get what you asked for an nothing more. You got a 3. What more could you expect?
- A success roll. You get what you like, and I'll even toss you a bone for other bad shit not happening.
- A great roll. I'll expound on what you asked for, so you get more bang for your buck!
- A skilled roll. A success, and you get a skill levelup out of it.
The bonuses various weapons apply may vary from what's in game to suit an ArrTeeDee better.
Battle Mechanics:You default to one attack per turn. However, you can add (an) extra attack(s) with a cost based on speed, capped at 4.
Very Slow Weapons have a penalty of -5
Slow is -4
Average is -3
Fast is -2
Very Fast is -1
Weapons with piercing will get additional free attacks upon success until an attack misses, the weapon runs out of pierces, or it runs out of enemies (once per enemy zone), with a -1 to the roll per each additional pierce. And melee weapons can hit multiple enemies, but they can never hit the same enemy more than once.
Specials:
Extra Attack - Launch an additional attack. -weapon speed to rolls.
Target - Choose which enemy or enemy section you want to hit above all others. -1 to rolls to hit others, +1 to hit target
Careful - No chance of horrible rolls harming teammates allies. -1 to rolls.
