I sorta know some of the rules to D&D, but im a newbie. I'd be willing to join but any help would be greatly appreciated. I was also thinking of making a Bard if that means anything :P
What do you need help in? Creating a character? Rules? Other?

Also, we should get a chat room going or something.

Generally everything. If anyone has a PDF of the rules, that would be awesome.

Over everything, you want to get the 'Dungeons and Dragons 4.0e Handbook'
It contains instructions and all. After your first game, it'll be easy.

Looks good, should be up in the character list in a sec.

(edit) about the story stuff, what's with all the hating of humans and humans killing dragonborns for no reason, dragonborns would be viewed as holy and important to the church.

Bandits.
I think.

Did I get the Attack stuff right? That's what I spent most of my time on.

Interesting backdrop story, my character reads a lot of books and I'm totally assuming that most of them were on the history of humans fighting over stuff. I can change that IF you deem it necessary, I just thought it would be a great twist.

So, are we going to be able to start the game tomorrow, or maybe sometime this weekend? I'm itching to start playing this character. Any background info on the campaign you want to reveal, or are you going to keep it all a secret to keep us guessing?

At least a thing that tells us how we all ended up together.

I can't really say anything for everyone else, but any time is good for me.
Also, please post all of your times in GMT (3:00 PM GMT-5 is 8:00 PM GMT). It makes it easier for me, and probably everyone else because it's easy to convert to your time-zone.

Well, while the game day is definitely influenced by us, the players, ultimately the decision will have to come down to the DM. I mean, if he's not done with the maps and whatnot, then there's really nothing we can do about it. That being said, Saturday would probably be a good day for me (I doubt I'll have any plans, but I'll let you know in advance if so). I'm -5 GMT as well, but any time between 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM GMT is fine for me.

I'm up for as long a session as the DM's willing to do, but what about everyone else? I know some people don't enjoy/are unable to do long sessions. The campaign I sat in on had 5 hour long sessions, which got pretty taxing on some of the players and ultimately led to some of them quitting. I think 1 - 2 hours is reasonable, but again, I'm willing to do whatever.
