Are Paladins leaders or defenders you think? They seem sorta both.

Anyway, with the party how it seems to stand (A rouge, a wizard, two paladins) I think I will go cleric. If there are no objections I will whip it up.

Also:
Also I want to share that 4th edition was worse than any edition before, is it true?

They are two completely different games. You can not really compare them side by side.

I think someone else was going to go cleric, and paladins are defenders.  We have two defenders, a striker, and a controller, you guys need a leader.

Hm.. well that solves that then, but I decided that divine is dragonborn only, so can you be a warlord perhaps?  Or if you have the books bard.  bards are crazy awesome in 4.0.

Can pallies heal at all?[1] If they can then I will take warlord and they can pick up any healing slack I have.

Or I could go dragonborn cleric.

[1] I just realized how lazy I am, with my book about five feet away well I ask that question. I will look it up myself and make my guy.

Paladins can heal others. It's called Lay on Hands.
Also, Meanmelter, could you change your background if we're going to be twins?

At the cost of their healing surges... Ah well, I will go warlord.

Yes, I'll be going Defense Paladin. Plenty of cool stuff.

Sure, I'll add a few things about it. Are we birth-twins or what?

world wise, for this campaign I'm considering that dragonborns are more like they were in 3.5 (except for a few changes), and you are born a dragonborn even if your parent was a different race, just putting that out there.

Yes, birth twins I guess.

I'm using Bahamut as my deity.

There were Dragon Born in 3.5, I'm pretty sure.

In the two DnD 3.5 games I played, I just saw pretty much all but Dragonborns. I'll check the manual again.
