The point is to show off by bending the very fabric of reality to shreds in an omnidirectional burst of pure annihilation.  Wizards are supposed to be these mysterious beings who do things that no-one can explain.  The fact that the old man in the blue robe who doesn't look like he can cut his own steak can rip you to shreds with a look...that's the point.

Indeed. As you can see, Sinpwn's Sinclair character has a purple shirt on. However...

Also when you think 'magic' you don't really think about red

Raistlin (Dragonlance), Red Mage (FF Series), and Ipslore the Red (Discworld - Prologue of Sourcerer, specifically) have some things they'd like to discuss with you...

Turn 1 is now up.

I didn't update Jay's or Frelock's status pictures (or the statuses themselves, for that matter) because I am in the middle of considering an art upgrade. Getting details down right on that small scale - it's eyegougingly, handfrumplingly hard for me. I'd much rather draw on a usual scale, then shrink down to status-picture size.

As a side bonus, I got a lil' book on manga-style drawing. While I'm still far from drawing any manga, having a definite style to relate to when working actually helps. And the simplified guidelines in the book are a greater help than any "professional" drawing aids my mother (an art teacher) gets me.

Anyway, here's that Kashyyk-girl in full size. Kashyyk didn't give clarifications, so I assumed (by his other clothing and character choices) that he wants to wear the shirt like this. I can always redraw it later if he asks me to.

(and yes, omfghuge hands. I call her "Alix Manhands".)

By the way, the rest of you people should also clarify your clothing choices. For instance, dermonster, do you want shoulderpads or pauldrons? Neither would give bonuses, but pauldrons are larger, kinda like what I depicted.

Pauldrons. Massive, massive pauldrons.

My shoulderwear will be unnecessarily large! But not to the point of debilitation, of course.

Well, I won't do Warhammer 40K-massive, but "reasonably oversized" should work.

Also just a note: we (The players) should take note of what the other players are going to use as actions.

I mean, yeah there isn't much else to do besides to try to go for a button, but if we all do it at once we'll probably teleport into a horrid abomination of five separate universes combined into a grotesque monstrosity.

Or just roll a die for choice. That works too.

Oh, you'll get a chance to discuss in-universe. You won't get much information, but you'll be able to anticipate where you're going.

Very nice :) I do wonder though, why I have a different background to the rest of the gang.

You got a better resolution(Assuming by large pic above), and thus a different background.

Got Jake Marshall done:

These are actually pretty fun to draw. Drawing at a larger scale is much easier - whodda thunk it?

Very nicely done.

As to picture clarification, here are the pages I was looking at when I got that wardrobe.  This picture and this one were what I was really going for, though the rest of them had fur capes so I thought I'd add that in.
