Okaay... maybe you won't get much chance to get information before shifting after all. Derm got a six-five on pressing the button (his DEX is six, so it's like usual).

I also hoped you wouldn't go to that world first... but what the hell. I hope it'll be fun. >_>

I'm a little swamped by physical work at the moment though, so no turn until at least late evening.

*Recognizes symbols.*

*Hums a tune from childhood.*

Though I don't remember dirigibles from that... except in that one thing.

Whether or not there were dirigibles in that, they are in this. :) Leaving you next to a wrecked ship would require an island (or seashore), a wrecked car or bus is, well, a little too much. Also, a dirigible in this case is mostly a steerable hot-air-balloon (well, used in this sense anyways), and it's one of the more iconic modes of transportation for one of the most recognized teams in the setting, so it was fairly logical to have it here.

Also, your characters have the same general knowledge and come from a universe that, up until a point, is not that dissimilar to our own. You can, in-universe, guess what world you are in.

I will do so once I see something that would justify me coming up with that explanation.

Also oh right I completely forgot about that. I was thinking about something else.

Once you get going, it won't be long. Practically guaranteed unless you somehow salvage the dirigible.

Now I'm going to have to try that.

Or someone else will, no way in hell that I'm not catching a few things barring complete and utter lack of balls. Hopefully a certain one too.

Holy crap look at that sentence. Wow.

Kashyyk's character takes offense to that sentence. ;D

I'm taking it to the "Out of Context" thread. :)

Wow, can't believe I totally missed the setting until Derm made the balls comment.  Out of curiosity, is the screen in color, or black and white?  Cause I'm pretty sure I would have gotten it if you had said "red and white halves."

No, all pictograms are white on black, with the exception of the red diamonds, the red orb, and the third pictogram in the sequence.

Yes, making it "red and white" would have been exceedingly obvious. Even going so far as "filled and outline" would be too obvious, for anyone who's played it back on the Gameboy.

If you're curious, I'll be avoiding setting-canon characters as much as possible, though some are too ubiquitous. You're also in no particular region, and compounded by plot effects, so expect anything and everything to come up.

I'm going to love drawing scenes for this particular world, because I am so good at making beautiful scenery and random colored wildlife.

If you heard an explosion just now, that's probably someone's sarcasmometer. Within a five mile radius from you.

*Clap.gif* Looks fantastic.

Heh, when writing my clothing description, all I had on my mind was my recent complete and utter failure to find any Netherwind Regalia in Blackwing Lair.

This may also explain why those shoulders look so small to me. I instinctively think they should be the size of my head.
