Eh, Its a neat idea but I am not very interested in burning vegetables. I am more interested in burning meat products.
But let's put my carnivorous tendencies aside.. I am quite content with these funny little pics Dungeons Of Dredmor gives us.

Oh, but what about fruits? Actually, forget about that, you have better uses for fruit, which will be further discussed shortly.

Hm... vikings. You appear to be from some time prior to the 12th century. Hygiene isn't something that those time periods were known for. Let's assume you're chilling with your crew on your sweet longship. This could go either of three ways:
1. You and your crew decide to make use of my scurvy-fighting abilities.
2. Somewhere on your ship, I grow, and so does mold. I'm somehow able to survive in your dank, mildew-ridden ship. You and your crew put decide to make use of my scurvy-fighting abilities, ingesting some sort of toxic mold in the process. I continue to reproduce via... I dunno, seeds? Yes, my species of red delicious apple, blood orange, and some sort of red... lemon? Or is it a lime? Nevermind. Anyway, the point is that they do in fact grow individually. My trio of fruits' respective species (assuming it's not just one weird metamorphic species) live (or lives) on while you and your crew perish.
3. The same as 2., but you and your crew end up eating all of the fruit and it doesn't have a chance to make more of itself.

Tough choice. I think they're relatively equally matched, but I would have to give the Fuzzy Zergling the upper hand in this battle (considering the carapace and burrow ability + arm/claw range), but not without a few broken limbs first.

If this battle took place in water or near a water source, the zergling is screwed. The hippo genes make it amphibious, but the carp genes make this thing a torpedo armed with teeth (+wide bite range) in the water. The scales also give it a similar, though lower, armor class compared to the zergling carapace.
