Ok so, I am still stuck at home with no way to get out of town or any affordable places to Rent in town. Travel is restricted to either Foot, Bicycle or A Lift with Folks. So that means clearly I ain't going anywhere. Just recently I got a new job with Woolworths who have built a new building here in town, they are still filling the shelves to be ready for the grand opening and they have asked me, who was spos to be training (Like I don't have already 5+ years of Filling Shelves and Controlling stock) in another store out of town, to come in and help fill the shelves. I am to be at work at 8:30 in the morning. My alarm is set to 6:45 so I could have some time to Fully wake up as I get ready...

And each and every morning I am awoken NOT by my Alarm clock but either my Mum or Dad sticking their head through the door. "Are you going to get up?" "Your running late." "What time did you say you started again?"...

Here's the thing, after Growling at them for the Abrupt awakening I roll over and look at my Alarm clock. Wondering why it hasn't gone off. I'll tell you why. Its 6:44am. EACH AND EVERYDAY, SECONDS FROM MY ALARM TO GO OFF THEY WAKE ME UP!!!. LET ME WAKE UP TO THE BLARING OF THE ALARM FOR ONCE!!!!...

I posted this cause while annoying that they do it, its kinda funny that despite not knowing when my alarm goes off, they are waking me moments before it does...

I don't know anything about your parents, but are you sure they aren't trolling?  You never know...

Wait till you have kids. You'll never need an alarm clock again.

... no matter how early you set it.

My parents were always like this, too. Some sort of oblivious caring, I guess, which made them completely clueless about my activities while still being overly concerned with ensuring I did them. I remember one day when I was nine, I had a day off from school (a teacher's seminar), and when my Dad came home for lunch he saw me on the computer and was so mad I was skipping class he vigorously slapped the back of my head several times in quick succession.

I always make sure I bring it up whenever I can to troll him.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Do that, he deserves it :) Parenting is hard, but that's no excuse for mistakes.

.............

Either we had a power surge this morning or my father is the most successful of successful trolls...

Last night before bed I kindly reminded my father that I have an alarm clock set to 6:45and would perfer to wake from it over being woken by them rushing me. This morning, I wake and roll over to my clock, thinking, 'How much longer do I have to be nice and warm...' My clock was blinking 12:10(am)...
I scramble from my bed and rush to my analog battery clock. It reads 7:55...
I Growl and go into the lounge room and find my dad watching the morning TV shows sipping on his coffee...

"Well why didn't you wake me..." I ask him.
"You told me not to and your alarm would wake you..." he said.
"There was a power outage as you fully are aware..." I replied.
"Yeah, I had just gotten the old Radio out so I can hear the news when it came back on, finally could boil the water for my coffee too..."
"You know that it came back on at 6:45. Like when my alarm was to go off..." My eyes began to slint in a narrow glare at the back of his bald.
"What you think that I caused it?"
"I wouldn't put it pass you..." I grumble under my breath as I walk away to have my shower...

Meh, my alarm time(6:20) is just a guideline; I'm usually awake before then. I just stay in bed until some time after that.

He's actually a good guy over all, who has worked hard and continues to work hard, and isn't actually abusive or distasteful in any way. I forgive him for the error.

But I still troll him.
