Invasion standards: A freeform RP
« on: June 04, 2011, 09:40:24 pm »

((This is a type freeform RP. Play along.))

The Vulture goes dark for a second, as the MAC cannon launches it at the enemy. Once clear of the mothership, a dim red light illuminates the cramped cabin.

In the front of the vehicle, the DD pilot slowly thumbs the joystick, casually guiding the parasite ship towards the target. On the sides are benches, where the restless US soldiers sit. Located at the bottom of the craft is the pop door, and at the top the safety door. Of course, if the safety door pops off, all of the grunts would be dead anyway.

The sergeant taps a few buttons on his helmet and looks up.

"Okay boys, let's go through procedure again. What is our first objective?"

"Extermination of all life-forms on the planet?" A grunt asks.

"... We don't have one. Remember, capt?" The Grunt stares back.

The Tech guy speaks up hesitantly...

"Uh...I thought we were...you know, looking for samples? Biological...historical...technological. Everything can be used. Even the most minor of items can hold immense cultural value from an extinct people.

The manual says we "owe it to the memory of those we are forced to destroy to preserve their heritage, and use it to enrich our own society".

He pushes his glasses up on his face self consciously.

The sergeant stares at both of the men.

"A little warmer. Try destroy the OMS Spearhead and free the denizens of a concentration camp. Sound familiar?"

Adams, a heavy trooper, and infiltration expert says " Sorry 'bout that I was sleepin' nothin' better than a good nap before a fight. Though I do remember that objective, and Sergeant do we have permission to use the heavy assault mechs for this mission if so I call unit 7? " Adams said staring at the mech armed with twin machineguns on each hand, and twin rocket pods.

Robert, one of the riflemen chimes in "No way, to many possible civilian casualties, we're here to help the people remember?

"Noooo, we are supposed to kill as many as possible to stem sort of disease outbreak. Did we get the same memos?" The Grunt asks.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Leon, an Assassin, Saboteur, and infiltration sits quitely in the corner.
Watching the others talk, he puts over a hood, that would allow his head along with his body to blend into his environment if he activated it. It was currently Deactive.
He looks out the near by Window on the craft. He had a different objective from the others.

(( OOC: And stupid, once you think about it. Heavy weapons such as RPGs and Rocket Launchers will draw much attention to your self. That is not just important for someone in a stealth role to avoid, but it is the SOLE PREMISE of stealth. Hence, there is no such thing as the "Heavy weapon and infiltration expert". It just goes againist the purpose of stealth. ))
(( OOC: Its also impratical. When will you EVER need a soldier with heavy weapon trainning to sneak around for Info? And when will you ever need a stealth soldier to carry around heavy weapons to head an assult. Its basically giving extra trainning that the person will never likely use! ))

(( OOC: Mechs? Stealth trainning? Those two terms do not even belong in the same sentence. ))
