I'd have suggested Necromancy + Conjuration if that meant we could summon Abyssal Horrors From Beyond Living Memory better things (and teleport away whenever something goes wrong).

Why waste our effort when we can just summon things to kill our enemies for us? Also I want to eventually Transcend, and that's easier with either Necromancy or Alteration, I think. Necro's got the Lich, as well as various spirit forms, and Alteration... is alteration.

Given his/her example of a Lich, I believe what he/she meant was a form of Immortality that escapes from aging.

Additional powers are a bonus.
