Heh, my kobold reminds me of...me.

So far, so good. I only hope I can be as fast as you guys at this when my turn come--
Oh, crap, I just remembered I can't figure out screenshots! I can put them in a word document and upload that to the DFFD, but it's not the same...

Which doesn't take word documents. How do you get a screenshot into a jpeg of whatever?

If I recall correctly, there's a button-press that takes an isolated snapshot of the active window (alt+printscreen I believe). From there, you just 'Paste' it in MS Paint like any other screenshot and save.

I'll try that...

Heh, this is going well, considering! Hopefully it'll all be fairly secure by the time my turn rolls around, (if we're still alive by then) and I can just sorta coast through, and hopefully do something cool.

Also: We have cutebolds and all those other 'bold variants... Now it's... gaybolds?! :/ It seems Yarsniff and Farsnin were both male! How come I ended up with that guy? Good thing I'm very secure in my masculinity. *Chugs beer and flexes muscles* xD
So, what sort of creatures ambush kobolds, exactly?

PTW

Great fort camp. I really like how it looks like a cave rather than an organized dwarven fortress.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Unless I'm mistaken...everyone except kobolds.
Dwarves really mean it when they say they export death.

I've been pretty busy today and probably won't post until tomorrow. All I've got left is the winter...

6th of Moonstone

The drink problem has been taken care of for the most part... I can't really think of what else i can do here as leader for the next 3 months. I'm ready to find a successor so I'm able to retire.

7th of Moonstone

Somehow, there's a caravan here. I didn't even know they got here, why does no one tell me these things?!

18th of Moonstone

The trading is finally done, after days of haggling. What we traded for? I don't even know. Our trader was that miner who died a while back (whose corpse is still out rotting on the beach), so we had to appoint some random fool as our trader...

21st of Opal

I know It's been a while since I've last written, but literally nothing important has happened for the last month. We did expand the food stockpile however.

28st of Opal

Animals of all sorts seem to be attracted to our camp. We've caught 3 animals so far in the trap wall: A drake, duck, and capybara man.

10th of Obsidian

More animals in the traps.

11th of Obsidian

I personally went out to recover Farsnin's skeleton on the beach. I'm surprised the body didn't drift out to sea with all the waves that have been washing over it.

12th of Obsidian

Some Kobolds have reported seeing a ghastly figure in the camp. No doubt Farsnins spirit has come to haunt us. I take full responsibility for not having a burial. A ceremony will be held today.

16th of Obsidian

Farsnin has been laid to rest. May he walk with Sraslonin in the afterlife.

Spring
Year 201

1st of Granite

Ahhh... 1 year has finally passed... Our outpost has been thriving for the most part, apart from a few minor hiccups. I'm ready to give the leadership to another kobold. The last caravan came with a note from the cavern elders detailing exactly who the next ruler of Gakruldus will be.

Hi
I like kobold camp, for me it looks like a nicer and neater way to bump up difficulty than playing FD or Genesis. If possible, please enlist me for the next available turn.
Do we have any other restrictions/challenges?
Can we buy "unobtainable" items and materials from kobold caravans (like steel armor, weaponry, and stones which they are not meant to have but somehow have)?

I only challenged myself with the non dwarf like room design, other than that it's pretty much all fair game. I don't really know how we'd get a pick unless the Kobold caravan brings one some how... Afiak all the other civs are at war with us.

we'll not be getting any picks or other non-kobold items and even if we do most stone is still undiggable. However, cobold caravans will bring strange items like "steel bone armor" and other items made of non-kobold materials (bronzes, iron, steel).
Well i guess they can be regarded as stolne and reforged if we bother with justifying their existance.
