Hidden trap
« on: May 17, 2011, 12:03:38 am »

I was trying to set up a danger room (just to see what it is all about), so I built a lever and a dozen of upright training spears. Then I went to elver and tried linking it to spears. But the first in the list of possible traps to link was not my spear.

It was a single adamantine short sword somewhere deep below my fortress.

I got scared and .. well.. erased the game already.

What was that?

It's just a single upright adamantine short sword somewhere in the third cavern layer. It was completely and totally harmless and did not in any way involve a large monster or eighty.

It's a masterwork adamantine sword.

Do what a dwarf would do.

Ooo! Looks precious. I saw it first!

So, can you link that sword to a lever, rig the area with deadly stuff, then get to safety and pull the lever?

It would be nice to be able to bring the fun back to the circus be preparing properly and still being at a safe distance (behind 6 layers of constructed wall :P)
