An accident or an "accident"?

Not sure.

Forgotten Beasts seem to be akin to Toady playing Dwarven Roulette with your fortress, as they can be anything from harmless giant worms made of mud to necrotic-gas spewing nigh-invunerable iron hydras of doom.

Barons, counts, and dukes currently cannot be replaced - once they're gone, they're gone forever.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Gone, but not missed.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

Ive lost nobles before but sometimes the liaison will let you elect a new baron/duke/whatever when they visit.
