Help with Resolution setting in Adventutre mode

First off hello :)
DF is super awesome!! just sad i didnt discover it sooner tyvm for the great game Tarn!

Ok so im trying to get into adventure mode, but having issues with the interface running off screen.. text items showing up on the top and bottom, i have tried numerous rez settings, tried changing zoom levels ect...

I have seen a lets play on youtube where the interface layout behaves but cant get mine to work like that :(

I am running on a 1920x1200 monitor but prefer a rez in the 1280 range for DF.

Any help solving the issue will be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance ^^

You could take a look at the init.txt files. They have some options about interface.
