Prepare yourself for a lovely little Forgotten Beast.

I hope you're not playing on a Hewlett Packard machine.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

Your fortress is doomed to a tantrum spiral caused by a noble who demands slade earrings.

Import and breed lots of female sheep (ewes)... then mod them to have tentacles and extra eyes.

Oh wait, it might be too late for that.

Start keeping a journal.  If this turns out to be as !!Fun!! as it's expected, you could be a legend on the forums.  Just read "One dwarf against the world", a thoroughly boring story in gameplay account, but told and rewritten into a dwarven masterpiece.

Fail.  Does not include 'squamous'.

Oh, this looks good.

Nyarlathotep Ogurzozlo, "Nyarlathotep the Black Pharaoh", desert titan

A gigantic olive humanoid. It has a large twisted single horn and large, curved nails. Its unkempt hair is brown. It knows and intones the names of all it encounters. Beware it's terrifying appearance !

On the other hand, you could mod Great Old Ones/other Cthulhu Mythos beings into your game and restart a game.

And a journal would be a great idea. If well done, it would be a true descent into madness and an awesome read.

I'm considering this, actually.  Never actually read any Lovecraft, and considering everything else, those simple words of terror would be enough to push my preciously unbalanced mind into the pit of violent debauchery.  Either way, I've found pictures of the other Great Old Ones, and debated modding something similar.  The hard part is making them able to eat titans whole, and not be game-breakingly "oh, old one is here, I quite" style.  Overpowered is fun, invulnerable isn't.

Edit the fanciful creature raws to include Elder Gods and things like that from the Cthulhu mythos, so with enough patience you can have a fort filled with engravings of Elder Gods which the dwarves like for their "terrifying features".

Terrifying features?  Try something more like "mind shattering appearance" or "unrestrained agony".

Due to Cthulu's resemblance to the demons of Yore, is suggest "Traumatizing nature".

I forfeit my roll on the grounds that it wouldn't matter anyways.
