After Williams stops reporting in, the US Government realize something is wrong and launch a full-on assault on the base!

The government starts tryign to see what happened to it's agent

(breadbocks, E=2: 4) Gallows begins making designs for weapon to be mounted on vehicles, specifically space-faring ones, but it could be put on ATVs and other things as well. (Theodolus, M=3: 4. Noah2223, H=4: 6) Scarlet has a minor crisis about whether giving in to temptation was the best thing to do... But she gets over it in the same issue. Meanwhile, the current director for the FBI begins looking into why Williams suddenly stopped contacting the base a while back (when his cell-phone broke. Totally sweet splash panel, took a whole page.) and sends a pair of agents to Death Valley to investigate. (wolfchild, M=3: 6) They find Gallows's base and successfully set up a hidden observation post nearby to try and learn what's going on. (Talarion, H=4: 2) Scarlet Shadow thinks about assassinating the president, but when she present the idea to the doctor he talks her out of it on the basis that it's not time yet. (Digital Hellhound, M=3: 3) The military, not caring at all that they're stepping on a sensitive FBI matter, begins mobilizing a force to attack the base...

Marmot Gallows is healthy. His assets include increased intelligence, a trio of robot minions, an army of rebels, and a base hidden in Death Valley so it's very hard to find and get to. His army is equipped with plasma weapons and high-tech armor that makes them all look the same. Magnetic ray attachments are being produced for his soldiers. His rival-turned-lover, Scarlet Shadow, is a combat expert and has her own army of shinobi to bolster the ranks of the soldiers. The US Army is mobilizing an attack on the base.
